It's an Evo X chassis on top of Mirage's body.

tapos the Mirage platform is really bad, this car will only be good for drag racing.
They should use Lancer instead. It will some have clearance issues on the transmission. The V6 engine has more power than the existing engine, although it is heavier.

    No it's actually not.

Check out the suspension orientation. It's completely different from the Evo X which uses conventional upright struts. On the Mirage R5 the shocks are actually angled backwards. It's a completely new bespoke design that has little to do with the Evo X aside from the Engine.

    No Evo X shell here

I'm sure the Evo X strut tower isn't angled like this

Even the front struts are angled backwards. From a full on side view this is even more pronounced.

I've just figured, there's no Evo X floorpan and other parts there.. This is more like the GR Yaris and their rally versions. They took a Yaris chassis with some modifications and to adapt AWD.

Someday if Mitsubishi will response to Toyota's GR Yaris to create the ultimate Mirage...(Mirage Evo?)

DIYer dream engine bay. Madaling maabot ang service items. 70s/80s vibe iyong airbox snorkel, parang sa di-karburador.

Yes tama, N40 battery size. 1 click start naman, no issues sa CVT, alternator malamang nagdadala.

Xpander 4AT namin naka N40 din from factory, no issue din sa 4AT.

    bakit daw kaya?

    in my former cars,
when it came time to replace the battery, i would replace it with the next smaller size (if one such were available).
wala namang pagbabago sa battery life at sa starting power.
and yes, the battery is just to start the engine. once running, the alternator provides the electricity for everything.battery also provides trickle current for the toys when engine isn't running.

    =====

Mas relaxing i drive sa errands.

Beats me why they don't want to. Playing safe probably. Humingi kasi ng pic ng current batt ko which is 1SM so I guess he wanted to just replace it with the same size. I didn't bother to push it any further.

Sa right front door, habang inaayos power window switch. May parang carpet lining sa may kaliwa, at styrofoam sa may kanan.

Old school na pull up handles at vertical C pillar lines.
    20220221_105113.jpg

NVH levels same sa Mobilio, mas tahimik kaunti siguro dahil 2k rpm or under madalas.

Kakamiss mag drive ng A segment HB.
