January 29th, 2013 05:29 PM #4303^the thing is the interior panel of the hood is susceptible with 2 elements, water (common culprit for rusting, the primer paint provide ample rust proofing) & heat emanating from the engine (will bake the paint & cause cracking, thats what that yellowish heat absorbent padding is for to keep the primer paint from cracking)
the interior panel of the door is only susceptible to scratching & wetting, applying color in it gives the impression that the car is not that cheap

i got my glx mt last jan.9... up until today, the mileage is only at 250kms...
from jan 9 - 21, actively cya nagagamit coz my dad is still here sa pinas... dun nabuo ung 240kms...
im a first time driver, still in practice mode, so after dad left, the car gets to be used only on weekends pag wala aqng pasok...
jan 30 na... 10kms lang ang nadagdag ko sa mileage...
so tanong ko lang po... hindi ba masisira ung car? na nakatambay lang cya dun sa bahay? seldom used?
meron ba qng dapt ginagawa dun? sabi sakin ng iba at least painitin ku daw ang makina araw-araw pra hndi masira...?
ska madali ba tlaga agad masisira kung hindi palagi ginagamit...
kc my work provides free shuttle bus, so i don't intend to use the car everyday... for weekend convinience lang tlaga dapat e...
someone told me na wag q daw gamitin ung car sa pagpractice q,,, kasi daw since new driver aq madals daw aq magkakamali kaya madali q daw masisira ung car...
personally sakin parng this suggestion doesn't make sense... e kaya nga aq bumili ng car e... but still is the suggestion worth listening to? masisira ko nga ba?
would appreciate your response... ^^

Try mo rin mag-road trip na malayo on a weekend, magsama ka ng experienced driver na pwedeng mag-guide sa'yo during the trip. Paturo ka ng proper overtaking, braking, defensive driving, etc. Parking na rin sa vacant lot using empty water containers as mock cars. Magbasa ka rin sa net for tips to improve your technique. Yes sir gamit gamitin mo rin kahit minsan. First-Second week nagpapasama pa ako sa cousin ko na mas experienced sakin then nung feel ko na magdrive mag isa I told my cousin kung kaya ko na mag isa and he said kaya na daw basta confident ka ayun nadadala ko na sa office though we also have free shuttle van service. Basta wag ka lang masyado pumwesto sa tabi or likod ng "jeep" or any public utility vehicle. Originally Posted by cesz_24

January 30th, 2013 03:35 PM #4307hindi naman masisira ang kotse kapag hindi masyadong ginagamit. but sayang naman kapag hindi mo gamitin... just use it and enjoy it! that's why it was purchased: to be used and not to keep your garage occupied. mas mabuti nga gamitin ngayon at pag-practisan, habang may warranty pa at naka-comprehensive insurance pa.. sayang naman yung premiums kung hindi papakinabangan... heh heh. joke, of course. Hingi lang po sana ako nang comments niyo regarding my experience kanina sa 2-month old glx namin.
While driving this evening pauwi galing office, i decided to adjust the thermostat 1 click to the left, since malamig naman ngayong gabi. after ilang seconds, we started noticing something, amoy kachichas ang loob ng oto!! (as in amoy pawis na medyas,hehe) then we traced kung san nangaagaling ang amoy and it led us to the aircon vents, amoy kachichas ang lumalabas sa vents
So i decided to lower down the windows to know kung mawawala yung amoy, kaso hinde.. Then i decided to turn of the AC and opened the air vents to let air inside the car, but it took a while bago mawala tlga ung amoy..
I did check the engine area upon reaching home kaso wala naman akong nkitang damage/ hayop/ tao(hehe) or anything particular doon...
ano po kaya ang problema nang oto namin... please help.hehe. Thanks po!
