Nakakalito lang kasi. May mga agent na nakakausap namin na kailangan ng cool down meron namn nagsasabi na hindi na need ng cool down bago patayin un makina. First time lang namin mag turbo. Ano ba talaga? Tnx.

actually im quite confused as well, due to different ideas posted on different forums, as well as the different suggestions coming from the SA of the mitsu casa. so what im doing right now as i dont have a turbo timer yet, (and as posted above by sir pingpongdad), is to wait for around 1-2 minutes before turning the engine off.

an m/t in general can be more economical than an a/t in a same-sized engine (of course, subject to good driving habits, etc.). the 4x4 m/t is a gls v so it has all the features of the gls v including cruise control and gps plus side view mirrors w/led, headlamp washers, tire pressure monitoring system and the super-select 4x4 capability (as found in the pajero accdg to the brochure). on paper, its specs are rated at 400 N-m of torque at 2000-2850 rpm. PLUS the convenience and advantages (to purists, as they say) of a manual transmission.

only thing i can say, it lacks the rear fog lamp (which i have been trying the casa to install properly to no avail) and the rear spoiler (which i don't mind not having) of the gtv.

very much enjoying it. good balance of power and fuel efficiency (i always say). can't go wrong with it.

fuel efficiency of m/t vs a/t versions of the same engine, at least 10-20% in favor of the m/t in the hands of a good driver. but this can easily be ruined by a heavy-footed one!

Share ko lang sa inyo how my turbo timer works,
It is self adjust/ fully automatic turbo timer. Meaning, on its own, siya na nagdedecide whether to cool down for 30sec, 1min, 2min,3min, depende how hataw is your driving. Now, in my case na everyday nlex ako from balintawak to bocaue, hataw mode, nag seset siya sa 2 mins * tollway exit, pero from exit mga 5-10 mins stop and go pa to my place, unti-unti bumababa yung cool down time niya, minsan nga back to zero when i reach my place, but normally 30 secs. Last sat i went to la union, straight, no stop over, and my destination is just right beside mac arthur highway, so when i got there, my TT set 5 mins, wala na time magcool down sa kalye kasi ratrat 'til i got there eh. After la union went up baguio, just 45 mins drive, pero hataw mode din, TT set 1min lang when i reached my destination(c.john hay), medyo traffic na nung nasa taas na. Summing up all these, if your everyday route gets you to your destination without any traffic/ stop and go, you need to put one, but if you will go thru a stop and go traffic before reaching your destination, you dont need one. In case you didnt install one, usually mine is activated when hataw mode nlex for 30mins tapos top up ka, yan sigurado hintay ka mga 2-3mins.

Sa banawe ko nabili, wala pang 2k ang bili ko. And yup ako na nagkabit. Pwede mo naman pakabit sa casa yan. Pm me if you need an english version ng manual, thai kasi yung orig manual na kasama, baka mahirapan yung gagawa if walang translation

meron na po bang nagpapalit ng speakers ng monty nila? what brand and model ung ginamit nyo? planning to replace my stock speakers. I want a sound setup sana pero out of budget and ayaw ko kasi macompromise ung space.

sir meron na yan, 'immobilizer' plus ung security alarm system na pre-installed from casa
