my 2012 GTV odo as at 9th Jul 19 and still in very good running condition[emoji120] i don't recall if i encountered issues with faulty scv, most of the time, the culprit is dirty fuel filter kung may CEL o kaya abnormalities sa takbo. i do clean the air filter and maf sensor regularly. egr naman was blanked/blocked since long time ago and i don't even bother na baklasin na, malinis naman last time na sinilip ko.

In my opinion, its still normal as long as it stays near or at the center of the gauge. But if it moves further up towards H, then something need to be
checked before it reach the H.

normal naman sa tingin ko, hindi pa naman lumampas sa ganyang level. dapat ba sakto sa middle or less?[emoji848]

napagoogle ako out of curiosity. damn that mitsu temp gauge! its normal. alam ko meron centerline and needle should be below that for some cars.

My EGR is leaking some oil(its blanked). The casa disconnected a hose and told me for observation. The oil daw is from the turbo. Is the diagnosis correct? Any suggestion? Thanks

it looks like from the turbo nga as evident sa leak[emoji44] the hose they disconnected ay yung daanan ng blow by gas galing sa engine cylinders.

ipa-check mo yung linya ng oil papasok at labas ng turbo bakit nagli-leak. baka ruptured yung oil line kaya nagleak ang oil at pumapasok sa air intake line kaya sa EGR ang bagsak at sa cylinder. worst niyan baka kaya yung sealed bearing ng turbo ang may tagas, yari[emoji85]

tiyak baklas nga bro, and if for replacement yung bearing, yun yata yung sinasabing mahal magpalit. pero leak naman issue, not yung sinasabing nasunog yung bearing kasi natuyo yung langis.

i think immediate yan kasi kung sa EGR at combustion chamber lahat bagsak ng oil, gunk deposit kalabasan sa loob ng engine. if malapit ka sa Manila, Zix Performance shop may help

The casa guess the oil galing from turbo. Then they just disconnected the return hose of blow-by gas to confirm
if really the oil is coming from the turbo. Pero pag blowby-gas lang hindi naman ganyang karami which is very visible
ang oil leak sa mga bolts ng turbo. Kung galing sa turbo yan, the most you can noticed na abnormal ay mabilis
bumaba ang engine oil level, at maaring frequent ang tap-up mo.
If youre location is in Metro Manila, better bring to Zix Performance shop asap. I think if this is from your turbo oil line baka
oil seal pa lang ang sira, at maagapan pa yung bearing , turbo shaft, impeller...

I dont think the oil is coming from the turbo.. its coming from the oil mist from the valve cover sucked by the turbo.. that is where you should place the oil catch can to prevent the turbo from sucking that oil

Pa lagay ka oil catch can... also sa picture mo wala dyan yung EGR..

Tama naman yung procedure , to rule out if saan galing yung oil, if blowby gas ba or sa supply line ng turbo. Have it cleaned muna, degreaser will do. Then observe if magkaroon pa rin ng oil mist. 1-2 weeks makikita mo na yan if magdry up siya or magleak pa ulit.

Jesto, sana blowby gas lang yung cause or something resistance/bara sa turbo oil return
line kaya ng build-up yung oil press sa turbo at nag leak. Share mo na lang uli yung progress ng repair para
sa mga tsikoteers dito.

few years back, nagka oil leak din dati sa may turbo ng monty ko. culprit was yung provent type oil catch can na ikinabit ko. although malaki ang inlet/outlet diameter nung catch can, parang nasasakal siguro yung flow ng blow by gas, dun nagstart magka oil leak sa may turbo. tinanggal ko and replaced it with bro Zix supplied oil catch can and nawala yung tagas ng langis. i checked lately and halos wala na trace ng oil sa air intake line. wala na rin oil naiipon sa catch can and i have not drain it for a long while. nakikita naman sa plastic hose guage if may laman. im thinking of removing na lang the catch can, pero hinayaan ko na.

with the case of Jesto, wala naman yata siya nakakabit na oil catch can dati so walang harang yung flow ng blow by gas. will know the real issue ng tagas later after maopera ni dok Zix[emoji6]
