Mga sir i need opinion regarding my evaporator.sabi ng casa dapat papalitan daw kasi may butas di kaya e welding.18k genuine parts daw then 13k which is the replacement one.is this the exact price of the evaporator mga sir?hindi na ba talaga ma gawan ng paraan pra ma ayos?my monty is 3.7 yr old pa nmn.any idea po!salamat

bro boi, since out of warranty na unit mo better na sa ibang a/c repair shop ka na lang magpagawa mas makakamura ka kesa sa casa. no idea sa presyo ng evaporator but i'm sure mas mura mo makukuha yan sa labas ng casa. try to search yung mga discussions sa aircon shops/repair dito sa forum and canvass ka muna. ipacheck mo rin sa mga car aircon/repair shops baka pwede pa nila matapalan yung butas while nagka-canvass ka ng replacement part.

If I remember right, sabi sa akin ng Denso Q.Ave, parang nasa 5.5 to 6k ang evaporator ng GLS SE Montero 2009, replacement, not orig.

My friend's 2010 2.5 Montero had his evaporator changed just recently with Denso brand evaporator. Damage was 6,500.00 for the evaporator.

My thoughts:

while in general ok ang euro 4 malaki pa din consideration sa overall cleanliness/newness ng station in particular yung underground na tangke. Noon suki ako sa unioil station na medyo matagal na nakatayo mabilis din dumumi at magpalit ng fuel filter buti na lang nagpalinis na sila ng tangke ngayon.

By the way noon na experience ko tumope yung montero after maglagay ng petron turbodiesel but no check engine after noon unioil or shell maski fuel save diesel lang ako.
