mas madami oil ang maiwan sa ilalim pag may steel wool sa loob. nilagyan ko din yung sakin mas effective sya.

Sa lakas ng higop ng t/c compressor sumasama pa rin portion ng blowby gas in the form of oil mist kahit may occ. Like my occ walang separator on inliet and outlet fittings kaya pag nag suct ang compressor ng hangin ienduced din ang mist collected sa occ, mas malakas kong may retriction ang air cleaner.

sir wing211 sorry wala ako picture eh. basta isunuot ko lang sa loob make sure lang wala wala maliliit na strands yung steel wool baka mahigop.tapos yung akin nilagyan ko ng pipe yung inlet para sa baba yung buga ng oil mish.so sa steel wool sya diretso buga. pag nagkatime this coming week picturan ko sir.

Sir Wing sana makatulong. Siniksik ko ang steel wool sa occ outlet elbow ng d matanggal pagnireplace ito at makatulong for further filtration oil carry over.

Mga sir , yung silver monty ko tinamaan ng bato sa road kanina and ang may nachip off na plastic sa front bumper , anybody here knows where i can have this fix ? Yung kuhang kuha pa rin yung paint ng pagkasilver ng monty

^ yep. i have a k & n drop-in filter on my fd naman. it's just i'm a newbie to diesel engines that's why i'm not sure about a lot of things when it comes to our monty's odds and ends

yup, and may tendency na magputol putol ang steel wool in the long run. I'd rather not put it in the outlet of the occ and put the risk na pwedeng mahigop ng compressor. we want as much as possible a clean air intake, that's why merong air filter, but to have the steel wool strands in a position that possibly ma-suck ng engine then imho it negates the purpose of the air filter. the purpose of the steel wool acts as a baffle or demister that helps in some way to separate the oil from the hot blow by gases and lessened the oil going to the compressor, but it can't be totally eliminated. even the provent and the flleetguard ventilation manager type occ's with filters can't get rid of all the oil, may traces pa rin. to be safe lang naman, better not have it in the outlet of your occ. even sir zix that installs most of the occ's here in tsikot does not advice or use the steel wool for the same reason na pwede mahigop ng makina yung steel wool. HTH

AGREE ako bossing, actually mas kawawa yung blades nung VGT ni monty pag may nahigop na steel wool yan, parang si IRON MAN dun sa avenger movie, yun nga lng yung blades ang lagot.
