yun sa akin sir e sa prudentialguarantee (katatapos ko lang po mag renew last July) almost 19T, with a depreciating amount to my original car value of 9.8% ang insured amount, yun nga lang syempre babawian ka sa participation

nung kumuha ako was 35k , for a gtv, 1.688m coverage. every year bumababa yan kung walang claim. nagrenew ako last march, it was 27.5k

sir, what do you mean umiilaw yun signal light after mag lock, sensya n sir kasi di ma view yun link mo. Kasi sa case ko umiilaw talaga yun pero twice lang after maglock ako, either naka silent mode or with sound. You mean po ba e more than that?

tama ka bro..pero yung sakin is after mag lock bigla na lang iilaw yung signal lights ko.na post ko na rin sa MSCP meron member na same issue with mine shock sensor daw pinalitan.dalhin ko pa lang sa weekende para macheck.. salamat

mukhang nagloloko na locking system mo bro. haven't experienced that kind of crazy lights. patingin mo na lang tapos balitaan mo kami

boss, saan ka kumuha? actually, in terms of insurance I have no idea of which is better, pwera na lang yun sa insurance ng sa company car namin, which ok naman in terms of claims.

The check engine light of my montero came on while running at nlex this morning, upon checking at my engine bay, i noticed that there was black sooth at the lower part of the egr, i also noticed that rust was forming. And there was a crack. Is it possible to just blank my egr without replacing the egr? And may i know where i can have it blanked? Tia

If the the CEL occured due to faulty or stuck EGR, its too late already for blanking. Blanking prevents the EGR from being stuck due to hard gunks/carbon deposits. Blanking is for prevention not a cure to CEL.

Anyway you can initially confirm if you have faulty EGR by listening if you can hear the click sound during initialization every time you turn off the ignition switch.

Everytime the engine is stopped, the ECU actuates the EGR valve from the fully closed to the fully open. The ECU records the fully closed/open value. It usually compare it with the previous value so if there is a significant change or abnormal value, the ECU lit the CEL at will.

Try to hear that clicking sound as follows:
1. Start and run the engine at idle and allow it to warm-up (around 70 degree C).
2. After the warm-up, turn the ignition switch to LOCK (OFF) to stop the engine.
3. Confirm if the "clicking sound" can be heard three times (3x) from the EGR valve .
4. If not, then choose where to go for detailed check. It could be stuck EGR or just a loose wiring of the DC motor.

By the way. if you hear the "click sound" but the ECU judged the value as abnormal, you have no other choice but to have it scanned/confirmed for trouble code using the diagnostic tool.

Planning to install cabin air filter on 2012 GLS-V, Sta Rosa area, close to 20K PM coming up after 20months, no previous work done on A/C.
1. Since malamang meron nang build-up of dust/mud in A/C evaporator, would it be advisable to have casa do A/C cleaning before cabin air filter installation?
2. Any idea of costs of A/C cleaning in casa?
3. Your experience how often to do A/C cleaning, for those still w/o cabin air filter?
4. Your experience how much less often to do this after cabin air filter? And your recommended a/c filter cleaning and replacement cycle?
5. Have anyone used any shop which claim they can clean evaporators without dismantling the housing? Too good to be true?

Interested in cabin air filter and OCC. If you have already did DIY to add air filter for 2nd a/c unit, pa share po. Also, meron na kayo idea how to add parking sensors on front corners/ or a chin camera? Thanks!
