I ended up in buying the Castrol GTX Diesel 15w40 kasi yun lang available malapit sa Diamond ko. Is it good ba?
Mobil 1000, 2000 at 3000 lang kasi yung ibang andun, even the Mobil TDT and Delvac wala. Saan po ba nakakabili non?

Anyway, I follow the advice given by Sir Zix (as usual ) and sir butchyboy.
I did mineral for the 1k PMS then will go Fully Syn on the 5k PMS. With my own research and point of view, I agree with this.

Total Expense (1st PMS) = Php 2,850

Castrol GTX Diesel 15w40 - Php849/4L x 2 = Php1,698 (Own Oil)
Oil Filter - ..............................................= Php 1043
Etc - .................................................. ....= Php 109

Yes sir less than 7liters sa 4d56 vgt. Yung se na 4m41 9liters. Malaki nga natipid ko kasi muntik na se nakuha ko eh, buti nakapagwait pako at gtv nakuha ko

yes folks, malaki talaga ang pinagbago pag 5w40 na fully synthetic oil kasi mabawasan ang vibration/noise/smoke too ng diesel kahit ano mang brand ng engine, in my experienced working on board ships this kind of oil 15w40 is good only for diesel engine working as generators with a load.but in the beginning up to 10,000km,mag 15w40 muna after that shift mo na sa 5w40 preferably wurth oil.

guys, ok ba na instead of yung free tint ang kunin ko ay ipalit ko na lang say ng busina? yung free kasi ng casa na 3m fx st parang hindi maganda review. balak ko mag-pa lagay na lang ng tint sa labas. either 3m CS non-metallic kasi para hindi affected signal ng gps or solargard pero di ko alam anong type ang equivalent ng 3m cs. Also, yung horn na bosch europa black ang kapalit nung tint. mas ok ba kaya yun or lugi ako?

*shadow: i tried. pero ayaw nila. konti kasi supply so walang masyadong freebies unless in-house financing siguro. sabi kasi sa tint thread yung 3m fx nag-kukulay talong daw. well, it is going to be easy for tints on the side and front but for the rear where there is a defogger, mahirap na palitan baka masira. sometimes i cant believe myself. pati itong mga bagay na ito pino-problema ko hehehe yung tipong ayaw ko magkamali.

sir zix anu po maganda na oil gagamitin ko para sa 10K PMS ko.? SE yung monty ko mag 2 yrs. na sa june pero 10K palang next PMS ko... share lang... hehehe....

I recommend mobil 1 turbo diesel truck 5w-40 fully synthetic. Sabayan mo na din ng baldwin bd7028 oil filter para sabay ng sabay ang palit ng oil/filter every 10k kms.

sir zix nakabili na po ako ng oem oil filter eh pang 3.2 nasa 1,900+ siya bali oil nalang po hindi ko nabibili.. nasa magkano po yung baldwin bd7028 na oil filter at anu po difference niya sa oem.? pero ok lang po ba mobil delvac mx 15w-40 muna gamitin ko tapos pag next PMS dun nalang po ako mag shift sa mobil 1 TDT 5w-40.? anu po kaya sir.?

OEM oil filter is only 950 to 1200 at ATCO.

Tama si sir walter, medyo mataas kuha mo sa oem filter mo. Yung baldwin na bd28 pang 2.5 nasa p765 , halos same din presyo niyan sa bd7028. Ang big difference is that hindi mo na kailangan magchange filter on the 5k kms kasi yung baldwin filters kaya niya magfilter ng mas maganda upto 12k kms. So mas mura na, makatipid ka pa ng isang filter na usually binibili mo sa top-up mo. Kung nakabili ka na nung oil and filter, might as well use it muna, then tsaka ka na lang mag mobil 1 tdt. In my case binenta ko yung stocks ko ng oem oil(16liters) and oem filters(4pcs) sa mga kaofficemates ko para makapag TDT and bd28 nako. Laki ng tinahimik ng engine eh

another question,nagpa 1k pms ako last december and im nearing the 5k mark,wala pa lumalabas na warning sa MIS ko na i need to bring it for 5kpms.ano ba next pms ko?5k ba or 10k pa?need your answers for guidance mga sirs.thanks in advance

6-7 km / liter in Metro Manila traffic is just about right. One of the biggest factor in fuel consumption is driving habit. It is advised that you use mineral oil until 15,000 to 20,000 km before changing to synthetic oil.

sir yung sakin ay 10.5km/liter nung before 5k palang but now nasa 7-8 na din. may file na ako ng reklamo sa mmp kausap ko si joy engr ng mitsubishi. bale sa amcar sta rosa ako bumili ehh 2012 model din. May problem nga din ang akin ehh hangang ngayun ay nag jerk pag low rpm. bali nag sulat na ang lawyer ko sa kanila demanding a quick repair or replacement of unit kase nga may diferensya ang aking monty gls v 2012 model.

I think 7km/l would be normal in Metro Manila traffic. In my experience with the following vehicles in Metro Manila traffic, this is what I achieve: Patrol 3.0- 6.2-6.4km/l. Montero SE 3.2- 6.4-6.7km/l. Fortuner 3.0 - 6.6-6.8km/l. Its a bit thirsty I know, but I normally drive in the 2500-3500 rpm most of the time. But a light foot would really improved those mileages.
