Thank you for adding that sir Zix. I now find the additional price very worth it.

ok. i was just surprised with jhnkvn's post.

how effective (or how essential) is the rear view camera? its not distracting in any way? our starex has one stock, and i sometimes get distracted (the few times i drive it). i'd probably get one for my montero. just waiting for the new car novelty to fade a little hehehe

for me, its both essential and effective

essential because my parking is in the basement and i need to get a better handle on the distance to the wall while at the same time minding a post right beside me

effective because now, using the colored distance indicators on the camera, i can park at the exact distance i want from the wall every time. the beeping indicator, while also effective, did not consistently give me the distance i wanted and there were times when i had to go down, check the distance then back up or move forward a little bit more

Having a back-up camera is very helpful, together with backing sensor it helps you a lot during backing maneuver. But also dont forget to check with your side and rear view mirrors.

same here. I also have a parking slot in the basement and I need to park with the rear to the wall. I have to be at an exact position wherein the tail gate can still be opened with out hitting the wall, but at the same time the front is not protruding into the driveway. The backup camera with the distance indicator does a perfect job in guiding me to the exact spot at all times.

GTV comes with the tire pressure sensors installed. The GLS-V has a provision for the sensors, but it's an extra 15k for them.

wala po bang safety issue ang turbo timer? di po ba pag switchback mo ng key to off position, di po mag stop yung engine but rather run for a pre set time then stops automatically? what if po in an emergency situation that you have to stop your engine instantly?
