    hi all!

anyone here using either Philips XP or Osram NB bulbs on their rides?

I need feedback on visibility especially if its raining and the roads are wet.

    thanks in advance.

    congrats, sir!

there is a check list that the Pre-Delivery Inspector and your SA go through to make sure that everything is working fine. make sure that you be with them. also, they should acquaint you with the GLX- kahit alam mo na, it is best to learn it straight from them- in case you might learn something new. and delivering the unit to you should not be a rush job. alot 2-3 hours or more for the whole process.

...and i encourage you to join TSCP... hehehehe...

Using Philips Xtreme Power also. Malakas nga sya lalo na pag walang tint ang harap. Confident ka kahit malakas ang ulan sa asphalt road. Pero performance bulbs like these tend to have lower life span compared to the stock Osram Bilux. Ganun din sa Osram Night Breaker. But it has a much better hot spot and highbeam throw compared to the stock.

I've been using Osram NB for more than 2 years already. Mas malakas and whiter than stock. Ok naman visibility although medium dark tint ko sa harap. Or you can try Bosch AllWeather.

    isang noobie question naman...

at what rpm does our turbo kick in?

    sa 2.5?
    sa 3.2?

i am using a 3.2 automatic and i seldom feel the turbo kick in... or if it does, di ko siguro napapansin... i usually drive where the max rpm is 2500... pure city driving... weird kasi coming from a civic where laging umaabot ng 3k to 4k rpm on the same route... iba talaga ang torque ng diesel...

^^^ For me, the turbo kicked in at about 1800-2000rpm with your truck when we were moving upward towards my walking/jogging path near the Manor Suites. I just suppressed it because there was not that much road left before the curve... heeheehee

i drive 2.5 glx (manual). turbo kicks in at 1800 RPM peaks between 2000-2500. pawala na siya sa 3000+. the only reason you shift at near 3000 RPM is that para pag pasok mo sa next gear, may turbo ka na agad.

    thanks Boz.

I'm kind of leaning towards the NB because of the whitish look, kaso baka hindi maganda sa ulan.

    oh well...

Got a 2010 GLX 2 months ago. May maliit lang pong katanungan. Yong light ba ng stereo eh hinde mag on, kung naka off ang stereo pero nasa Acc or On na ang susi?

Kasi sa old car ko eh, pag nasa Acc or On na ang susi me *ilaw* na rin yong stereo (kahit off sya).

    Salamat po!

+1. had to learn how to do that. Nung bago strada ko asar na asar ako sa turbo lag dahil sanay ako shift at 2.5K RPM on my Revo, ang strada pag pasok sa next gear hinihika. kaya pag paakyat ka or accelerating, make sure to shift at around 3K para naka turbo ka pa din pag bitaw mo sa clutch.

Not sure how to do this for matic models though.
