So the actuator of the stock alarm finally died out on me sunday afternoon, stuck on open. Since it being stuck and cannot lock is a safety concern, I had it changed at one of the many many car accessories shops here in BF Homes. Cost me 800 pesos, with labor.

And it had me thinking, while having it installed. Has anyone here changed the stock alarm that comes with our stradas to aftermarket ones, i.e. autopage and the like? Just curious thats all.

they are not the same, the ones installed on our truck is smoked, if you will look at the picture the inside of the headlamp is all chrome.

same thing happend to me along c5 flyover. Bigla bumukas yun driver side door ko. Bigla kasi nagwarning sound na open yun door ko.

Happened to me too, biglang nag "ON" and room lights ko and nagwarning and nag-ilaw door open indicator sa dash. Bigla na lang bumukas driver side door ko while driving at low speed medyo bumpy kasi road. I beleive this should be escalated sa MMC, sofar tatlo na kami naka experience nito. BTW 3 weeks old pa lang strada ko and naexperience ko na rin yung inevitable squeeking sound.

can you describe more details about the incident?

particularly on "how did it open" part...did you mean the door did really opened full swing or natangal lang sa pagkakalapat?

this type of issue should be the one that is worth raising in the MMPC management....because its all about the safety of the people who are riding the car...

Sorry to hear about what happened to your strada. Ako nga rin minalas last Sunday kasi nanakaw both side mirrors ko. Nakakabuwisit lang sa casa kasi nag order ako nung Monday and 2-3 working days daw eh dadating dahil i order pa nila sa planta. Kanina nag follow up ako and isang side lang daw ang dumating at wala raw stock planta nung para sa left side and wala rin sila makuha from ibang dealer. Sana nasabihan ako ng mas maaga.

Ginawa ko, nag order ako sa El Dorado and na confirm nila na meron daw sila makukuha sa planta for both sides. Nakakapagtaka lang, bakit El Dorado may makukuha and yung Casa eh wala. Kaasar lang.. hirap mag drive ng walang side mirrors kaya di ko tuloy magamit yung strada.

Saan po kayo bumibili ng Royal Purple?

Nabasa ko nga 'yung isa mo pang post sir tungkol sa ninakaw na side mirror, hassle 'yan sir, panira talaga mga magnanakaw

Anybody tried Royal Purple change oil package sa Speedyfix? Parang mas mura 'yung change oil package nila kaysa sa Motul sa Autoplus

mag 3 years na car ko, never happened sa akin. ive even drove in rough roads,. ang naicip ko lang is, maybe the door wasn't fully shut, only 1 click instead of two clicks,

if so, adjustment lang yan sir.

BPI Insurance : 20,569.39
LTO : 9,600.00
Chattel Mortgage: 19,500.00

i managed to get EWD, seat cover, tools, car cover, floor mats, visor, 3m tint, 5 years warranty/150k mileage and car care products.
