So the actuator of the stock alarm finally died out on me sunday afternoon, stuck on open. Since it being stuck and cannot lock is a safety concern, I had it changed at one of the many many car accessories shops here in BF Homes. Cost me 800 pesos, with labor.
And it had me thinking, while having it installed. Has anyone here changed the stock alarm that comes with our stradas to aftermarket ones, i.e. autopage and the like? Just curious thats all.
Happened to me too, biglang nag "ON" and room lights ko and nagwarning and nag-ilaw door open indicator sa dash. Bigla na lang bumukas driver side door kowhile driving at low speed medyo bumpy kasi road. I beleive this should be escalated sa MMC, sofar tatlo na kami naka experience nito. BTW 3 weeks old pa lang strada ko and naexperience ko na rin yung inevitable squeeking sound.
cant wait to sell my other cars for me to be able to buy this strada!hehhee
hi sir!
can you describe more details about the incident?
particularly on "how did it open" part...did you mean the door did really opened full swing or natangal lang sa pagkakalapat?
this type of issue should be the one that is worth raising in the MMPC management....because its all about the safety of the people who are riding the car...

mag 3 years na car ko, never happened sa akin. ive even drove in rough roads,. ang naicip ko lang is, maybe the door wasn't fully shut, only 1 click instead of two clicks,
if so, adjustment lang yan sir.
if that was the silver strada pics with url of club, thats mine sir, its sporting 265/50/r20 tires brand is Federal.
Hi again
After some thought (with the help of you guys), I have put the Strada 3.2 on the top of my list. I will be back in The Philippines in a couple of weeks time and I will go for a test drive.
What should I expect to pay?
The list price is: P1,305,000
Should I expect P40,000 discount (or more) for a cash sale?
Would P30,000 cover it for insurance (inc AoG)?
I understand that I have to pay 3 years registration? How much?
What other extra charges are there? tpl?
Would tint and floor mats be usualy 'thrown in'?
Anything else (advice) I need to look out for?
The casa will even give you a 50,000 Php discount (in my case) but don't celebrate yet, coz that amount of discount will cover the insurance, registration and other extras. In short, to sum it up you'll end up paying a total amount of 1,305,000 Php, which was the base price of the unit.
The floor mat s standard add ons and tint depend on how you haggle with the sales agent.
for the extra payments here's mine sir (but my chattel and insurance is based on my model - GLX):
BPI Insurance : 20,569.39
LTO : 9,600.00
Chattel Mortgage: 19,500.00
i managed to get EWD, seat cover, tools, car cover, floor mats, visor, 3m tint, 5 years warranty/150k mileage and car care products.
sir ask ko lang kung ano gamit nyo na rubbing compound to remove hairline scratches?
Thanks
