sir i know its been discussed like crazy but i need your input on best tint for a black glx. do you think a 3m bc 35 on all the glass with visor on windshield looks good on it? or can i go to the next darker tone without giving so much issues with visibility on side mirrors and rear. Is BC35 with the mirror like finish? i opting for a sleeker smoked finish sana.. any advice? thanks

The tint on my black GLX Strada is 3m BC35 on the sides and BC45 on the windshield and the back. Yung heavier tint sa sides and lighter sa front and back para mas mataas visibility pag titingin ako sa rear view mirror at sa daan. Yes, it has a mirror like finish. Madalas pag may tao na naglalakad makikita mo sila na nana-nalamin. Pag madilim at walang light source from the inside, di ka talaga masisilip from the outside. Pag umaga naman, di ka rin masyadong kita sa loob. Mahirap lang pag gabi at magpa park ka sa madilim na parking area. Di mo makikita yung nasa gilid mo at yung side mirrors.

Cool naman sya tignan in my opinion.

sir ask ko lang mabaho ba yung aircon nung car nyo?? kasi amin parang mabaho sya eh... 2months palang strada namin.. and nung nakuha nyo ba nakaplastic pa ung mga upuan?? amin hindi na eh? and 0kms ba ung nakalagay sa mileage amin 19km na ung tinakbo.

Mabaho aircon?!? Gaanu kabaho? yung parang nangangasim? kasi kung parang maasim yung amoy baka yung air duct ng AC may accumulation ng molds...

Regarding sa pagkakaroon ng plastic. ang normal na ginagawa ng casa once na ready for release na iyung unit sasabihin na sa iyo na ipapakabit ng yung tint, papalinisan na rin ang kung anu-ano pang mga ikakabit kaya yung plastic ng mga upuan wala na at tinanggal na sa casa. Unless na may instruction ang may-ari na wag tangggalin yung plastic na balot.

Regarding sa KM reading depende kung gaanu kalayo kasi mga normal diyan ay from 5-10 km may initial km reading na. Kasi di naman pwedeng galing sa planta pagsakay sa barko hanggang offloading at sa parking storage sa destination di pinapatakbo yung sasakyan. Plus minsan galing sa planta ng dealership dito sa atin land travel kung walang trailer. Pansin ko yan kasi minsan sa SLEX naka convoy mga bagong sasakyan walang plaka at nakabalot pa mga upuan.

Yung amoy ng loob ng Strada ko more than 5 months nag amoy mabango at amoy bago. Di ko nilagyan ng air freshener.. Di ko alam kung ito yung amoy na tinutukoy mo.. Maganda punta ka ng EB then compare mo sa ibang bagong Strada. I'm sure yung unit ng ibang mga kuya natin eh amoy chicks na... hehehe... Regarding sa plastic, yung sa amin nakatanggal na rin.. pero napansin ko na yung plastic sa bakal sa ilalim ng seat sa harap where we adjust the seats distance from the dashboard at yung ibang plastic sa likod na pinagtanggalan eh nandun pa rin. Ganun din yung samin.. nilinis na nila bago pa namin madatnan.

also a habit of mine, turn off a/c when nearing your destination, this allows the cold air to not be trapped and when turning on a/c, fan it first for three minutes, then on mo na.

so far, that habit of mine allows me to have good a/c system.

Nakuha ko na kahapon ang truck ko! Panalo ang bilis hindi mo pansin nasa 100Km/H ka na kagad. Hindi ko pa mahataw kasi nasa 100kms palang sya so far. Ang Strada ko po ay GLX version. Pano po ba makasali sa Strada Club?

May maikli po pala akong katanungan. Pano ma-lock ung rear bed gate?? Napansin ko kasi kahit naka engage na ung alarm, pwede pa rin mabuksan ung gate. Naisip ko lang, medyo delikado kasi mga bata sa lugar namin baka mapagtripan. Factory installed po ang alarm ko (MMAS). Binasa ko ung manual pero wala naman naka lagay dun kung pano ma-lock ung rear gate. Sana may makapagsabi sakin kung papaano.

Feeling ko nasagot na yang munting katanungan ko. Sobrang haba lang po nitong thread na ito. Ilang araw na din ako backread pero hindi pa rin tapos (nagbabasa na po ako before pa ako maka bili).

May nabasa po ako dito about problem sa clutch. Sa aking palagay ang may problema ay ung driver side floor. Parang may palalim sa floor kaya pag tinapakan mo ung clutch, medyo naiipit ung left foot so ang ginawa ko e tinanggal ko ung matting, medyo naging ok na. Although hindi pa din ganun ka-smooth, tolerable na

THE Mitsubishi strada'08 voted one of best pick up trucks in the market today for its looks and performance.
And so i think that is the good part about the car is the looks alone.

I own a mitsubishi strada'08 gls sport. It was love at first sight i tell you. A different body from most of the pick up trucks nowadays, it really draws attention.advertised and packaged to be an "off-road" and "rugged vehicle" it shows that mitsubishi did a good job selling it. my family owns a few pick up trucks and was impressed with it, so we give it a go.

My strada just turned 2 years recently and even before it's 2nd birthday i have encountered numerous problems with it and i to enumerate:

1. Back suspension squeaks like hell! Its like you're driving a car that already existed for ages! And believe me my strada always have a courtesy call at the dealership because of it.

2. My egr valve broke ( i think its way too soon!!!) so my car experiences rough idling and poor acceleration. I love to go out of town so overtaking slower cars with my strada make me think twice if its going to lag or not.

3. After replacing my ridiculously expensive egr valve, my airbag lamp turned on! And after some checks from the dealership (for the nth time!) they say a spring of the airbag is jammed!!! How the hell does it get jammed?? The good news is its covered by warranty and will be replaced. The bad news is i have to drive around with no chance of being saved by the airbags and unfortunately for me the dealership does not have the part yet and its been 2 weeks.

4. My compass resets all the time.. Nuff said.

We've owned and still own pick up trucks and i haven't had any much complaints with them compared to my strada.

To all you fellow strada and car enthusiasts, are you experiencing the same problems as well? Or maybe im the only one who owns a "faulty" one?

Regarding the squeeking sound of the leaf springs....thats already a given and haven't been fixed by mitsubishi until now.

EGR valve, your the first one to post a broken valve (as far as I remember).

Compass reset and faulty spring on your airbag, that is also something new.

As with latest that i have been reading sa Strada thread, due to dirty fuel, some SCV are being replaced for Monty and Strada. A few owners have had SCV replaced under warranty.

Good day, my point is that after the check up the squeaking sound mas lumakas. Thought na maayos na yung problem. So this morning got my car checked again at the dealership. Matagal na daw kasi na problem yung suspension ng L200 variants diba dapat they have done something to fix it?
