Congratulations on your new ride. If you live near Banawe, Quezon City I highly recommend Coventry Square. My Monty's leather seats were made by them. Pulido gawa.

hi again monty peeps, just a question... has anyone upgraded their stereo/sound system? i was thinking if putting separates would already improve the sound or should the head unit be upgraded too to achieve better sound quality? your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I agree, just tweaked the EQ a bit and it doesnt sound that bad at all. maybe some bass and add some tweeters and it would be good enough.

i just got my Montero in gemstone gray mica color yesterday and now while im reading all the forums mukhang madadag dagan pa gastos ko ang sarap i dress up ata>>>> its my first car po kasi so excited. i dont know much about cars too so reading up the forum is very helpful..

anyone here who did a carbon fibre for their dashboard? baka may referrals kayo.... im from lipa city batangas nga pala ... thanks

Wow 13.5t for a turbo timer, kasama na ba yung turbo its just priced from 2.5-3t. Nag pa install ako sa S4Sautohub for only 2.8t w/ batt meter

I'm having a problem with my monty with 15K mileage. Rough idling and the engine shuts-off during traffic. Good thing na malakas ang battery to restart the engine. The casa said they did some adjustments on the engine programming when I brought the unit last week but the problem persists until now.

Would appreciate your ideas before I bring back the unit for another round of diagnostics.

That is too techincal na pala sir.. Computer problem.. Try other casa for another opinion. Other mechanics/Technicians from other Casa might know better.. I hope it is just the computer... Good luck sir!

Do you think that the 4D56HP will be as reliable and durable as the 4M41 ? Im torn....I have the L200 with the 4M41 and wanted to order the MS SE 3.2 next year - but now its going to be gone. Very confused.

The A/T version will only have 7nm more of torque, instead of the Manuals 400nm, so power should be around the same, but quietness and fuel economy improved. I wonder if the 4D56 Timing belt will be made out of kevlar, and last as long as a timing chain.

if i were you I'd get the new 4d56 with VGT montero that is, if its gonna be launched early next year....

The next generation Strada will probably continue to have the 4D56HP, but other countries may get the upcoming 6 cylinder MIVEC CRDI engine being currently developed with Ralliart.

the 4m41 VGT is more thinkable being installed in the strada rather than this one your talking about....because as far as logic is concerned the 6 cylinder mitsubishi diesel engine is destined for the future model release of the pajero...

They also have released the 2.2 MIVEC Diesel (4N series) for use in the ASX. Pretty good numbers.

Yes, the 2.2 4n14 was already released in europe....But its not installed in the ASX rather it is the one installed on the new Outlander...

the one installed in the ASX is the smaller 1.8 liter 4n13 diesel engine...


But for the new montero, We cannot say precisely when will the 2.5 VGT version will be released...so we just need to wait for further developments....

Sir TRAK, share ko na rin sa iyo ang alam ko sa FC, kase alam ko kung anung petsa ka na matatapos sa pagba-back-read na thread na ito from the start (pero, best pa rin na mabasa mo umpisa).

Sa akin lang pala kase GLS 4x2 A/T sa akin. After a year of driving, city= 8-9km/L, tapos H-way or mixed=10-11+km/L. Wala akong RV meter eh
Hindi ko alam sa 3.2L hehe..

Sa iyong tanong na 2011 naman eh, wala akong balita. Pero maki-chicka ka sa thread ng Comparo, meron duon Fort 2011 vs MS 2011.
