Larry, why did you sell your ASX? What did you replace it with? Thanks.

Yes the motor is out of the question meron talaga yan (one of the reasons why headlights with electronic adjustments are expensive).

nah, i don't rely much sa manual. Sa kalye ako mismo nagti-timpla. Yun base ko is a regular stock height sedan - basta ang tama sa HLs din nya. Tsaka 2 lan kme usually ni mrs hindi gaano loaded.

my black&decker car vac performs like my compact 'cheapipay' household vac. Hehe. As long as it serves its purpose, bato/buhangin lan naman.

Mga boss, do any of you use a power inverter? I got this 3,000-watt TBE inverter but I can't seem to make it work. I connect the + and - terminals to the battery but it doesn't light up. Is there something I need to do that I'm unaware of? I'm planning to use this 800-watt vacuum cleaner in the car. Thanks a lot.

    why the need for inverter?

    1. there are car vacuum cleaners that's plug & play with cig lighter. (12v/DC)
    2. common household vacuum cleaner (autovolt 100-240v/AC)

unless you're trying to use no.2 and you have no power outlet near your parking or whatsoever?

(me baon din ako 150w inverter/CDRKing incase of emergency lan)

Una I wasn't aware na me push start/stop n pla yun gls model ng asx so when I discovered it it made my decision final to get ASX..An hirap kac mkakuha ng accurate info khit sa website ng mitsu(not updated), ngdealer hopping pko at nginquire sa mga Sales Rep including sa trinoma n me display ng asx pro mukhang di ata cla cgurado sa mga features ng product nila.. Finally I was able to confirm yun features sa citimotors.. then next step is yun color which I preferred which is Q.brown.. Again i did a barrage of inquiries for the color and found a dealer who has one, after confirmation I went on to process my application for bank financing. And the sales agent asked for reservation of 50K because their manager will not procure the unit from the plant with my PO still in process for a 5k reservation only..

So what the heck, I did my part and paid the 50K reservation expecting the unit at the end of this month.. But guess what, the sales Agent called me and told me that at the time of their inquiry of Q.brown ASX gls 2012 availabilty it was there but days after I paid they say its gone. And I don't know if this is blessing in disguise but they said the 2013 model is coming out by the end of october to november, so they said Its better to wait for it..

Anyway after 3 days ago another agent from diamond motors that I earlier encountered but has no Q.Brown ASX GLS before confirmed to me that a 2012 ASX gls Brown arrived just this morning.. I was waiting for him to tell me if there would be a 2013 ASX model coming out, but I got a reply about 45mins later.. He then confirmed that yes a 2013 model was coming this late october( imagine they won't divulge this to dispose earlier models first and I also got this info that some agents/dealers would even give a 2011 model and change the year model thru some miracle work thru LTO).

Now I am confuse whether to wait for the 2013 or get this 2012, by the way Im trapped with the other dealer because of the 50k reservation which I know is refundable but I doubt I can get in 2 weeks time(I know someone who got his refund 5 weeks later for a 5k reservation only).. My budget includes that 50k. Theres no updated price for this 2013 unit yet but the sales agent said it won't be much and he could arrange for the discount to just balanced out from the price of the 2012 model..

Im getting impatient but seems to be I just have to wait..

My Agent and dealer was able to pull it off.. i got my 2013 ASX GLS this afternoon.. After telling them I would go with the 2012 model from other dealers and refund my 50k, they were able to confirm that there are units already in customs and that they would definitely do everthing so I could get a 2013 unit.. And with exaggerated patience on my part they were able to secure it in advance even if there system has no pricing available for asx 2013 yet.. I don't know if this is true but they said I was the "FIRST" one to get a 2013 ASX model...

obvious changes were the front fascad is sleeker, new fog lamps with chrome siding, Power doorside mirror with signal lamps(previously with SE only), additional chrome on side..inside they said the steering wheel control is upgraded and so with the stereo..

I like the face as it is and I want it to look tough, not sleek. About the fog lamp, heck I don't even use it. I think the 2012 GLS has power mirrors on both sides. Rationalize, rationalize. Hehehe. :D

About their claim on the steering wheel, it seems like they still don't know what they're selling. They should have told you that you have an upgraded suspension and CVT.

    Congrats and enjoy the ride!

Just asking, the headunit (stereo) is Mitsubishi OEM or is it still a AVT headunit? I cannot see clearly from the posted pictures.

The front grill effect looks nice.
