Just had my front stock speakers replaced with Focal Polyglass V130 seps. Thinking of replacing the rear with a budget coax (pioneer or JBL probably) but maybe later. Sound quality improved a lot with just the HU driving the speakers for now.. Had separate alarm and auto door lock (alarm code) installed as well for safety purposes, and, had the HU replaced by Winterpine also as the touch screen is faulty.

Expecting my Apple bundle freebies also anytime soon.

Had to dispose some home audio stuff for the upgrades... Sulit naman so far...

Hi Johncsong, ipa deadening mo na din for better sound clarity/quality at magkaroon ng konting bass. I have mine replaced with acoustic vertus seps and JBL coax. Napadeadening ko na din and installed a sealed box base. I'm so happy with the result so far, wag lang mag iba ang level ng satisfaction ko when it comes to sound quality ;-)

*200kph, yung gilid lang mismo ng mounting frame ang pinabalutan ko ng deadening sheet. Ok naman ang pagka absorb nya though me konting uga pa. Di ko na kuna kakalasin uli at baka magluwagan yung mga clips

Big brake kit for LANCER EX from SPEEDLAB... I wonder if it will fit our ASX?

EDIT: I just got confirmation from Speedlab ... it will fit the ASX but wheels need to be 18s or bigger.

Of course you still need to purchase an amp + wirings

You can also try Mickey's Autosound at Santolan, Pasig. That's where I usually go for a sound setup like what I've done with my previous ASX. Had the speakers changed with Polyglass and Pioneer subwoofer

I experienced the unpleasant smell also twice now after my first 1Km check. Was running at 100Kph when the smell came out of the aircon vents and diminished when i turned off the aircon. Have yet to advise Citimotors of this as i have read this case already and likely will have it checked this weekend.

I believe this is to lessen the load sa engine and to preserve your compressor (old skul practice?).

Case to case basis, ok naman siguro naka on ang ac for high speed/short burst. Yun tipong less than 5mins ka nasa 180kph++. Yung tropa ko before nakipaghabulan daw sa isang bagong oto sa sctex 190+ kuno speed nila, the next day sira compressor nya (15yr old car)

    Imho.

Any words from GH about this?
    TIA!
