Has anyone experienced hood latch issues? ung sakin before parang ang tigas i-pull ng hood release handle, now ayaw na ma open ng hood. Kung i-pull mo, all you hear is a clicking sound.

ghost hunter..quick question.. when you tried to change the wood trim to carbon fiber... were the wooded ones on the doors also included? 7k right?
mga ser plano ko sana bumili ng puting EX GLS next month, ive always been a big evo X fan kaya may minor ext modifications na plano ako gawin pero paadvice sana kung san ako makakatipid:
1) may marecommend ba kayo na fiber glass (not carbon fiber) evo mods sa front and rear bumpers pati sa hood? nag inquire na ko sa kai racing abot daw ng 37k yung parts pati pintura, any other tips and suggestions?
2) sa gulong ano ba pinakapraktikal sa budget na diskarte to upgrade to 18 inch rim/tire set? medyo alangan ako sa 16-in na OEM na kasama sa GLS.
Maraming salamat!![]()
Dude, just think that the price you pay for the fiberglass pieces is for the quality of the parts. Don't go cheap because it will show in the quality of the parts/work.
You can get GTA 18s from owners of GT and GTA who have changed their wheels to aftermarket models. Prices will vary and the wheels may or may not come with tires.2) sa gulong ano ba pinakapraktikal sa budget na diskarte to upgrade to 18 inch rim/tire set? medyo alangan ako sa 16-in na OEM na kasama sa GLS.
Check the Lancer EX GT/GTA owners here and at the mitsu club forums for possible deals.
GLS/GLX owners I'm selling my stock GT-A Front Strut Bars/Tower Bar for 2.5k. Anyone interested can PM me.
Thanks.
Stiffer. Much stiffer. Especially I am running on 18s. If I had 16s, the ride would still be comfortable.
Adjusting the shock's damping rate helped to make it more comfortable (especially the rear end) but it is still stiffer.
I still am planning to adjust the shock rate a bit more to find a more comfy setting without compromising handling too much.
At least the shock-rate adjustments are now accessible without jacking the car up.

anyone using Tein STechs? how does the ride compare to stock? (medyo mahal masyado ang coilovers para sa akin, he he.)
also, pag nakabit na yung STechs, how much clearance do you have sa front bumper? mga ilang inches kaya from the lowest point of the bumper to the ground?
thanks.![]()
i'll be getting my gls this sunday..any tips on how must i use it on its first few days or kilometers?
can you also suggest the best fuel for this? petron/shell/caltex?
Don't exceed 100kph.
Don't cruise in one speed/one RPM too long.
First service comes up at 1000km.
Back-read this thread (archived portion) for tips on the "features" of your car.

I can suggest NOT to use Petron XCS... kinda sluggish with my GLS.
So far I am using Total Unleaded and I am happy with the results.
Run it hard!
