yung sa aircon walang pinagkaiba automatic climate control kasi eh madali lang naman mag adjust ehh
pero sir sugeina tawagan nyo po bago kayo pumunta para mag assist kayo and see the actual glx unit gls na kasi ang naka display diyan sa citimotors ehh yung silver dati kasi ex glx ang naka display pero meron talagang cruise control ang ex glx

The drawback of 1.6L on the current EX body weight is the lack of power. Will it be enough? It is like Bonel Balingit vs. Shaq O'Neal playing one on one. Test drive first before anything else.

It might not be as good news as you think. The EX body is relatively heavy. It would take the same amount of power (either from the 1.6L or 2.0L) to move it. So even with a smaller engine, you might see the same fuel consumption. The problem of the 2.0L is not that it is a fuel guzzler, it's not. The problem of the 2.0L engine is the traffic in the metro which leaves it operating below it's efficiency range.

Power-to-weight ratio, kung kulang ng power to match the weight = malakas sa gas regardless of the displacement.

A 1.6L Corolla consumes 10-11km/L on the city, while on the other hand, a 1.6L Optra consumes less -- around 6-7km/L.

Why ? The Corolla is relatively lighter than the Optra.

A 1.3L Nissan GX consumes fuel just as much as the 1.6L Nissan GSX does, sometimes even better.

Gets ? Hence, having a 1.6L engine on the EX doesn't spontaneously mean that it will have better fuel efficiency. I can bet that it will still fall around the range of a 2.0L with only lesser power.

With how the EX consumes as of the moment, I can pretty much say it's acceptable. 7-8km/L on moderate traffic is normal for a 2.0L. No.. it's actually pretty good.

If you're after fuel efficient vehicles then sorry, you would have to look at other cars such as the Corolla Altis 1.6L MT ( note: M/T. If you want a fuel-efficient Altis, 2.0V is the way to go ... ) or even a Toyota Vios 1.5G.

I am just curious with the Lancer EX 1.6L CVT and M/T... how much less in price and what stuff did they remove as compared to the Lancer EX 2.0 GLS/GLX models.

I still say the Mitsubishi should have pushed for the COLT instead of the Mirage.

With the CVT, you might not notice the smaller engine's power output until you reach 100kph.

I think they replaced the ugly wood dashboard trim with faux carbon fiber trim similar to the one found in the GTA. Aside from that, the steering wheel is not leather covered. There seems to be an question if you can get an EX with cruise control or touchscreen HU or both since there is a difference between dealers on this.

I used to own a 2010 EX GLS but I had an accident that totalled the car. I got an ASX to replace it.

GH, just wondering. Saw your EX up for sale sa sulit before, nabenta mo ba or kinahoy mo nalang yung parts and sold it separately ? Sayang naman yung engine hindi naman yata tinamaan.

The damage was extensive, though. Good thing di ka tinamaan nung bakal na naka-pasok sa windshield.

The car was already sold "as-is". The buyer came with a flat-bed truck to pick it up.

It came close to my dead-line to chop-up the car to be sold as parts though.
