BTW guys update sa FC nung nagupgrade ako to 18, kung kahapon 9.5 km/l ako, today sinubukan kong magtipid meaning occacional na lang ang high rev ko, as much as possible hindi lalagpas ng 2.5k RPM lang, naka 10.4 km/l ako from Nova to Taguig, usual route and take note mas traffic pa. So kung same lang ang traffic kahapon na 50% lang baka naka almost 11 km/l pa ako. :-)

tried 0-100 on my stock lancer 2.0 glx 7.5 sec madumi pa oil nyan i try ko pagkatapos ng 10k check up ko (wag nyong i try kung manghihinayang kayo sa gulong nyo)

Kung mag18s ako. Baka matagalan pa lalo pagpalit ko since masmahal ang 18s at ang tires for 18s. MagStock GTA nalang kaya ako? Kaya lang mabigat eh. Nako nako.

Sige bro patesting. Kahit pasakay lang hehehe. Since mukhang okay naman fc yung acceleration nalang papakirandaman ko. Wag ka na paside mouldings. Side skirts nalang. Di bitin look without it. Yung evo pati ralliart walang side mouldings eh. Nakakaexcite pala tingnan evolution ng mga kotse natin. Sayang wala akong pics nung stock pa ko. Hindi ko marerecord yung growth. Mage97 ako sa next ko. May nakita akong sea oil sa may aurora na sobrang mura. Parang regular unleaded ang presyo.

Nagpalit ako from 16 to stock 18s..wala naman pinagbago...kung meron man di ko napapansin..naka 2.0MX pala ko..

good day mga sirs! im new with tsikot.com, ive been following this thread since last week, kasi ive chosen as my first car is a lancer ex, quick question lang po, napansin ko ang laki nang price difference nang mx sa glx, do you think it's much wiser to get the mx version rather than the glx, although mas malaki ang matitipid ko sa glx kesa sa mx parang nakakatempt kasi sakin is the afs and hid headlights, auto climate, gps and the lcd readout, parang nakakastress ang red sabi ko sa sa ko hehe! pag kinuha ko is yung glx, pero the offer for glx is really low, and may free ipad pa, ano sa tingin nyo guys ang mas ok? im used to driving manual naman, yun nga lang it's a Isuzu sportivo, maninibago ba ako sa ride quality nya ie, height, handling smoothness of the ride in general, next question ko po is the fuel consumption or FC nabasa ko ditto sa thread ang FC would be around 8-9 km/l is it at par with other cars in the class? although I know it depends sa driving style, last question po, which do you think is a better color? im looking at silver and black in terms of maintenance in the long run, ano po ba sa tingin ninyo ang mas ok na kulay? thanks in advance, would really appreciate your help kasi im planning to pay na next week. thanks!

As for the color, black is a pain to keep because the smallest piece of dust will be visible on it so you will have to clean it more often. Silver or grey cars tend to be easier to keep clean because dust is not visible on these colors. The same on white colored cars but to a lesser degree.

FC is at par with other 1.6L cars of its class.

If you can afford it, the MX is a better deal since you will get a better overall package including HID headlights, GPS navigation, auto climate, etc. Although you wouldn't miss most of it if you got the lower model car, it is a big plus to have them.

you got FC wrong, mine is 2.0 and i got the 8-9km/l. you will be getting the 1.6 which plays 10-11km/l.

for color here's the take:
1. gray - noob color, para sa mga taong tamad maglinis ng kotse
2. red - sporty color yun nga lang daming kakulay
3. white - perfect color yun nga lang kakulay mo taxi, pero maganda yung grill na naka blackout + white body combo madali pa lagyan ng carbon fiber
4. black - mawawala yung pagkamacho ng nguso takaw dumihin pa (minus 1pt)

glx vs mx? i'll get the glx anytime (kasi im pretty sure nasa tsikot ka, mag mo mod ka!) and you need lotsa money to do that, for example, unang pinapalitan nung iba is yung stock na 16" wheels to 18" (mga 40-50k agad yun) pero +40 pogi points. tapos may GPS pa yung ipad, yun na kang gamitin mong entertainment system matutuwa pa misis mo (or gf), kung bokya talaga, eh matutuwa sayo nanay mo.

haha! mukhang bokya nga ako sa aspeto na yun lisa_mae, and tama kayo dun, the reason why i'm here kasi im planning to mod it, pero not too much naman, ive read from auto industriya that the glx (or mx) is like a blank canvas which I actually affirm to, great for personalizing to suit your taste , though ghosthunter, yun rin yung same reason why I wanted the mx variant, pero ang laki talaga nang difference when it comes to pricing, and the sa is also willing to add a gta spoiler pag roll out kung glx daw ang kinuha ko, hehe! cost-benefit analysis, manghihinayang ba ako in the long run kung glx ang kinuha ko rather than the mx? and then tanong ko na rin, maalaga naman ako sa car, actually spoiled na spoiled sakin yung sportivo and I kinda like the black color in my lancer, babalik ba ang macho points kung before I roll out, mag purchase ako nang chrome inserts in front of the grill, (ala gta style), or bad idea yun? hehe! thanks!

ask yourself if you are going to miss the added features of the MX.
1. GPS - i've never used one. So for me.. not really a must have right now. GLX is GPS ready na rin naman eh.. so just buy the microSD card
2. HID - light is light... the GLX light is alright with me. HID.. maporma talaga.. so if you want HID.. go for MX.. kasi upgrading the GLX to HID, will cost you money.. papalitan mo mismo yung headlight housing to a projector type eh
3. RED vs BLUE LED display - does it really matter?? most often than not, you'll be looking at the road anyway..I rarely look at my display, in fact naka low light pa nga siya eh...
4. Side Strip (sa pinto) - well.. ito nakakapagpabago ng itsura.. i want one on my glx.. but this could easily be bought...

ano pa ba difference? ang MX ba meron nung adaptive light? tulad ng GTA? yung umiilaw ang side kung san ka lumiliko??

Either way.. weigh the add-ons if they are really a necessity or just a want for you.. then you decide which is more important...

in my case.. it was practicality that won.. so i got a GLX...

Sakin kasi hindi ko gusto yung chrome ng GTA, mas gusto ko pa plain blacked out yung grill, pati logo initiman ko, btw mine is GLX Red. Magandang deal yung libreng spoiler, kasi nakita ko sa price list ng casa ang psoiler is worth 30k kasama install. I had mine by purchasing a stock GTA spoiler worth 6k and had it repainted with install for 2.5k. Total damage for the spoiler alone is 8.5k. Ang laki talaga ng difference ng pricing ng MX sa GLX, for me ang gsto ko lang dun yung AFS at HID. Fog lamps, sakto lang. Nagpainstall na lang aftermarket. Yung side moulding, hindi ko trip. Yung Auto climate siguro mejo isa sa hahabulin ko sa MX. Pero GPS? no cuz SD card lang kelangan mo, worth 7k sa casa god to go na yun, or kung may makita kang pailalim na nagbebenta ng SD card wala pa siguro 4k un.

Kung spoiled sayo ang car at mahilig bihisan, siguro sa GLX ka na lang, para hubad talaga, at bihisan mo ayon sa preference mo. Yun nga lang once you pop, you cant stop hehe

Yung matitipid mo sa GLX pangbihis na agad yun e, ipang mags mo na agad yung tipid instant pogi!!

good point sir! practicality wise talaga it's glx, so I guess, glx it is. thanks for your opinions guys! im really excited to get my first brand new EX haha! something that I can call my own! excited na rin ako I mod nang body kits, last question, is it a good idea to purchase the chrome inserts in the front grill and then black ang kukunin before I roll out or mukha lang akong tanga nun?

The mx comes with a chrome grill, however for the lining that extends up to the lower part of the grille, sa design na ng gta bumper yun, you'd have to buy the entire bumper if you want that look. Kahit chin nun iba ang korte, parang may built in splitter na kasi ung sa gta as compared sa glx/mx na nakaprotrude yung panga (reused bumper from the older 2008-early 2010 lancers), foglight casing is different as well.

AFS and climate control lang talaga yung hindi mo makukuha kahit anong gawin mo na pagmodify/upgrade ng glx mo, if you cant live without those, get the mx.

Glx na sir. Its either the glx or gta lang for me. No offense sa mx owners but i find the chrome on the upper third of the nose quite off. Either buo as in the gta or none at all ang bagay Imo. Tsaka tama yung matitipid mo pang mods nalang yun. Ang pinagpipilian ko dati elantra tsaka glx. Elantra looks good fresh out pero since masmahal may pangmod ako to make the glx look better than the elantra. Kung abusado lang ako siguro pati mags hiningi ko na sa tatay ko. Hehehe.
