Mabigat ba sya compared sa ibang 18s na Rota or other brands?

It's not any heavier/lighter than similar large sized wheels from Rota. It is heavy because it is an 18 inch alloy wheel.

Im sure it will affect fuel consumption due to the increased size and weight but will ride quality be significantly affected (i.e. road noise, bumpy ride, etc) with the change from 16 to 18?

Not by much. It's comparable to having an extra passenger if you have the EX2.0GLS.

Road noise, no change. Bumpy ride, nope, the EX was designed with 18s in mind. In fact that the handling improved with the upgrade from 16s to 18s.

Hey guys, my wife and i are in the market for a new sedan or a new pickup. My 2008 Altis is starting to show some wear and tear signs and we decided to purchase a new vehicle instead of being bogged down by maintenance cost. The GLX lancer seems to be a good alternative and I was wondering if there are new buyers here who got good deals with their respective dealers. I inquired earlier in a Mutsubishi dealership and the best deal I can get out of is a 45,000 discount. No freebies. I was wondering if this is the same deals you got also.
Btw, our new vehicle will be coursed through a bank loan. Thanks for your assistance.

I have a 47k discount from Diamond Motors in Marcos Highway with standard freebies(tint, matting, EWD), kinukulit ko pa yung SA kung ano pa pwede ibigay. Bank PO din yung gagawin ko although mid nov ko pa kukunin.

I think sa Diamond Valle Verde and Diamond EDSA infront of megamall 47k din ang discount.

I actually prefer the ducktail over the stock gta spoiler. Especially if naka 18s na mags na. Mas subdued ang porma.

It will look okay. This is assuming it is a non-black EX with a black colored ducktail to maximize the color contrast.

Ducktails are usually installed using adhesive double sided tape. So no drilling required.

This was how my 2.0 EX GLS looked with GTA rims...

I am just not sure if the new EX 1.6L would have the same stance.

Pareho lang GH, here are my before and after photos...will a black ducktail fill the void in the rear portion?

medyo bumaba pa ata ng onti yung stance after awhile..

A black ducktail give the rear portion more lines and detail. If it was painted in the same body color, it would just blend into the rest of the car and loose detail.
