According sa mitsu SA na kausap ko. The local crdi 4m41 was detuned so that it would accept our dirty fuel. Mitsubishi sacrificed performance so that it wont have any fuel issues. i also had smoke problems whenever fully floored yung accelerator. But eversince i used petron diesel booster di ko pa nakita umusok kahit hard acceleration.

Hmmm, I'm not sure if the SA really knows what he's talking about

sir, i read in the previous pages that you want to use AT tires on your Gen 4. have you considered 'downgrading' your mags from 17 to 16 so you could use AT tires. correct me if im wrong, but afaik 17'' AT tires are kinda hard to find locally?

I'm still thinking if I want to go bling or big I haven't tried looking for 17" ATs, I'm still waiting for my present tires to worn out.

naku sir, ganyan din problem ko. wala pa akong gen 4 unit, pero pinproblema ko na kung mag 22' Blings (TIS04) or 18' JDM (Volk Racing TE37 Large PCD) ako.

btw, checked out a black gen 4 sa diamond motors greenhills yesterday afternoon, ayaw pa kunin nung owner kasi wala pa daw license plates.

Sir mitsu007, welcome po sa tsikot. About sa turbo tama yan. Dapat ka magcool down. basta turbo charged. Lalo na pag hiway driving you really need to idle before shutting off the engine. it also helps kung naka fully synthetic ka na oil. Para mas mataas ang tolerance sa heat. And would reduce the risk of having burned oil (sludge or gum) accumulate at the turbo bearing.

Thank you sir promdiboy. Actually I havent bought a unit yet, aside from the stiff price, im also considering whether to get a gas fed or diesel fed engine. I wanted the diesel engine for lots of reasons but whats bothering me is if I have to idle for at least 3 minutes everytime I use the truck then I would be consuming about 30 minutes a day just for idling because the nature of my job requires me to go around the city travelling short distances. Anyway thank you again this will definitely help me in deciding

mitsu007, meron naman ways para di ka mag idle, like you can minimimize reving the engine too much bago ka dumating sa destination, pag ako minsan 20 seconds pinapatay ko na, pag hiway or agressive driving tinatagalan ko, mga 1 min. confident din kasi ako sa oil na fully synthetic,

If you'll use the Pajero for city driving only, you don't have to cool down. Cooling down is only recommended for high rev driving, like in highways.
