My 2004 Lancer MX CVT has an issue where the "D" (Drive) light does not light up when I put the transmission into D.
Instrument panel lights are working. PRN Ds lights are working. The transmission is shifting normally.

I overheated due to dislodged radiator hose. I got the car working already, repaired and cleaned the radiator, engine works fine, because when the temp reached 3/4, I turned off the engine already.

Question is, what can I do to make the "D" light work again?

Could be something as simple as a busted bulb. You can remove the instrument panel and swap the Ds bulb with the D.

Ok, will try. Not sure if the bulb is soldered in the instrument panel though. Will check.
