Both of the are ok. The DMax does look way better on paper. But in the real world, I'd personally take the Strada.

But then again, that's just me.

strada kc maintainance wise very easy, ganda luks n engine ng dmax but i still doubt the 3.0 di engine can handle the low quality diesel in the phil, not inless u want a 47,000 bill for ur injectors after 2 years of use on ur d max. thats the reason y i still don't want my dad to buy the 4m41 gen 3 paj.

medyo bias ako e. i'd say go for the dmax, i personally own one, though my unit is imported from thailand. i hear that sooner they will have a locally produced units. ok ang performance ng makina, malakas, matipid at same time (relative din sa driving style e). though proven naman ang isuzu pag dating sa diesel, kaya wala kakaba-kaba. sa safety, ok sya, kasi dual airbags, with abs+ebd. saka madali syang i-drive kasi maiksi ang nguso.

sa strada, i have nothing against it. i like the styling, kungdi nga lumabas yung dmax, malamang strada ang gamit ko ngayon.

tama si x-wind bili ka ng dalawa, pag ayaw mo na yung isa pamigay mo na lang. :D

Medyo maselan kasi ang computer ek-ek ng DMAX. Remember when Isuzu tried to run it across Pinatubo area?

I'd vouch for engine simplicity and ease of maintenance which will come in cheaper, Strading! :D

Kung plain and simple lang yung 3.0L Isuzu engine without the computer fuzz, it would've gotten my vote.

Although the Strada would be much simpler to maintain sabi nga nila. Enjoy the problem.

kung di mo naman gagamitin for extreme off-road, mag dmax ka na. at least sigurado ka na matatagalan pa na palitan yung body. and it has nice safety features and a new engine. unlike strada which has been around for quite sometime.

    just my 2 cents....

is their any cost difference between the two?

i would vote for a strada pero manual kukunin ko. i think the engine is just right kung manual, pero kung matic, medyo mahina na.

luckytruck::: Power to the wheels will almost be the same with A/T and M/T trannys. Matics have torque converters inside the transmission so that power loss when shifting is minimized. Actually, you loose more power to the wheels when driving in manual tranny.

ungas, i guess you are right, i am not too familiar with diesel automatics kasi.

maybe its just the shift points that i am concerned with. when i had a matic na civic kasi, then i drove my friend's manual civic, i found his civic more responsive because i could control the shift points better with the manual.

    does that make sense?

maybe the diesel matics will be different.
