2002 Lancer GLS?? is it ok??

Hi,

Is this Lancer an ok car? Someone is offering it to me. P310,000 manual transmission. Mura na ba yon?? it seems that more people are inclined to get Civics or Corollas.

Is there something wrong with this car? it is a 1500cc car with a carburated engine. SO it does not have an ECU.

I am considering getting this car.

Please help.

mas reliable kasi mga civic and corollas and mas madali ibenta pag nagsawa ka ... my cousin has this car ok naman siya pero pag carb usually mas matakaw and this is really an old body na ... so if i were you just go for something different tsaka medyo mahal din yung price yung mga sme body pero old model na 1.6 glxi nasa 100plus lang mtic pa wala rin naman masyado iniba sa luma e exterior alng mga bumper bumper pero besides that its all the same if you really want a lancer just get yung mga mas luma na glxi 1.6 engine na matic pa maybe may invecs kapa makuha plus its injected na

Not really (well at least, for our shop). Mas madaming ginagawang Toyota at Honda kesa sa Mitsu samin, even sa kalapit na shop. Not to mention yung price and availability ng Honda parts. Joke na nga yan sa mga shop eh, na ang "Honda" daw ay semi-anagram ng salitang "Holdap" dahil sa price ng parts.

strange but true... again, this is not a new topic to tsikoteers, the old civic vs corolla vs lancer vs sentra debates. Mostly it results to honda and toyota as topnotchers (don't ask me why).

Drove a lancer before for some time, then corolla for a few months, and now own a civic EK, kanya-kanya sila good points naman eh.

i believe that whether corolla yan or mitsu, it still boils down to you taking a test drive and accompanied by your trusted mechanic. choose the one that'll make your heart skip a beat... that's what i did.

... but again, don't take my word for it, try it yourself!
