1991 Galant 2.0 engine

im going to ask if this engine is a DOHC or SOHC and info about this engine is this for Super saloon or GTi 1991 galant thanks and more power

That's SOHC. Note the spark plugs on the side. DOHC 4G63s have the spark plug wires in the middle of the valve cover.

That's for the Super Saloon. It has a 2.0L inline-4 8 valves engine SOHC
The MPI has a 2.0L inline-4 12 valves (??) SOHC
The GTI has a 2.0L inline-4 16 valves DOHC engine.

Wag na eclipse, prone to crank walk yan. Go for the 4G63T from a vr4 (210hp) or vr4 RS (240hp). This engine was made for the 6G galant. Tried and tested yan based on experience.

hello sir puhmbs, this engine is the 4G63 2.0 8-Valve carburetor type. A year later in 1992, it received the ECI-Multi and Multi Point Injection while still retaining 8 valves. the GTi was also launched in 1991 with twincam 16Valve design.

in comparison with the Corona EX Saloon, i think the Corona should be a better performer but the Galant should still be OK. But for best results, have the engine checked and tuned up.

it kind a slow poke..hehe sadly its has only 8 valvethen sohc engine ggrrr..and 2.0 piff..di ako makapaniwala 2.0 siya haha..im still a noobie in this im very happy i find this forum..pc adik kasi ako hahaha

Ganito rin yung engine ng Galant Super Saloon ko na Automatic... nagkakaproblema ako ngayon sa carburator bumababa ang idling pag nakabukas ang aircon kaya parang nanginginig yung engine. San kaya pwede makabili ng carb ng ganitong engine? and magkano?

baka may kilala kayong shop na makukuhanan? like sa evanghelista makati or sa banawe qc?
