I think when it comes to rubber shoes, you need to buy original because fakes won't get you the proper support/cushion?

Definitely. Cheap shoes are a torture on your feet. Pero minsan doc, masakit din sa paa ang mamahalin [emoji24]

    cheap or expensive,
    a shoe expert once said,
"never entertain the notion that the ill-fitting shoe will eventually stretch or take on the shape of your foot. that's wishful thinking. the shoe should feel comfortable from the git-go."
shoes are built differently from each other. choose one that fits you comfortably.
do not pretend that your foot is smaller than it actually is.
how many times have i seen, men whose laces are not tied.

I always buy shoes that fit. Hindi ka kasi babae doc, a lot of us women suffer to look good. Even expensive well fitted shoes masakit talaga sa paa because of the style or height of the heels.

One of the lace style to doc.
I happen to try this one, but loose lace style to my AJ1 low.
Kaya not tied kasi loose lace, purpose is not only for a style but also for the easement of foot ingress/egress.

    i know, po.
all my titas suffered from hollywood shoe syndrome.
all of my titas had similarly-distorted feet (yung pa-tulis), all as a result of wearing the hollywood-style ladies' footwear of the 50s, made popular in the hollywood movies of yore.

    nowadays, iba na.
who cares if one's feet are as wide as donald duck's ?

the stilettoes at the rear are too tall,
but the frontage is about right for that hollywood look.

    sinisilip ko,
    hindi ko ma-basa ang tatak.

ang kagandahan ng custom-made ay swak yung fit nya on both feet.
medyo mas malaki kasi ang left foot ko at nahihirapan ako na isuot ang mga ready made high boots.

parang wala sa choices yung mga brand ng sapatos ko.
    Meron pala yung Skechers
Bonia (Malaysian brand) - pang harabas

    Others... barely used
    Timberland
Rockport - sobrang tibay nito dahil >20 yrs na sya
    Sperry
