i purchase shirts, based on my waist size.
the rest of the measurements that come with it, i try to live with, or have them altered.

I became aware of brands for my work & casual wears (Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Fred Perry, Tommy Hilfiger) & slim fit jeans & pants. I like wearing Adidas Boost, NMDs & Originals for daily & outdoors, Cole Haan for my leathers in white midsoles (I discontinued Ecco because their white midsoles are difficult to clean/restore). Coach belt & wallet, Samsonite back pack for work.

During the start of the pandemic, I was more became magastos. I was comtemplating, it's time pamper myself (the horse & grass saying).

Its dressing depending on the kind of people you are about to meet or to the place you are about to go to.
I dress up when you go to meeting with high value/ big money clients in 5-6 star hotels/restaurants.
I dress down when i go to areas notorious for robbery and pickpockets.

Oh man, cheap yata ako kase I only wear usual shirts from Lee and Jag mostly, i get to own branded ones if bibigay lang ng gf ko. For shoes, usual Chuck Taylors or sketchers and Merrell footwear.

for the longest time, I shop at Debenhams kasi sila yung may malalaki na size.. and malimit may sale minsan up to 70% off.. kaso nagsara na.. kaya I'm back to Marks n Spencer.. ilang beses na ako nag fit sa Lacoste for polo shirt.. pero pag iniisip ko.. 6K+ for a polo shirt.. i just walk out na lang.. hehehehe I just buy sa Collezione pag sale minsan 500 pesos and below lang...

Yes doc, Yung binibili ko na naman ay hindi lalampas sa 1k per shirt. Pag 2k,3k 5k pataas per item , nanghihinayang nako, pambili na ng whiskey Yun haha.

I remember the 90s when Giordano was all the rage. It's cheaper sa HK kaya hoard na when going to HK[emoji23]

There was a time my Dad, Mom, brother and I all wore Giordano shirt (yung may tao na design) going to lunch ata, buti different colors [emoji23] We didn't plan it at all. We came from different places kasi and just met there HAHAHA. Sayang we weren't able to take a photo kasi back in the early 90s naman people didn't bring cameras and take photos all the time.

classic/timeless and high quality pieces (likely priced higher) like a good pair of shoes that could last you 20 years or a dress shirt or jacket etc

It looks like the 90s are back. I was surprised when I was in the US late 2021 to early 2022, Tommy was very trendy e I last wore that in the 90s. RL and Lacoste never went out of style I really like the preppy look.

Agree. It's good etiquette to adjust to the persons and places you go to. It's so tacky to be dressed to the nines when the person or place you're going to is simple lang. I don't think it makes the person feel at ease and it's like attracting attention for yourself. It's exactly how contrabidas are portrayed in pinoy shows hahaha. Example pupunta sa palengke bihis na bihis pa. lol.

I'm sad about Debenhams closing. I buy my "unmentionables" there because it's of good quality (la senza is NOT good) Good thing there is still M&S (been buying there since GS ata, yung socks nila dati na knitted nauso haha)

I hope you are joking. Pants na 20 times di nalabhan!??! Why do you do that to yourself? Hindi ka ba pinapagalitan ng parents mo? Kami kasi ng brother ko pinapagalitan ng parents namin if we don't take care of ourselves.

Nung pandemic nga, I wore the same divisoria bag e my Mom gave me money to buy myself something nice e nakakaawa daw ako. I used that same bag kasi pwede ko tadtarin ng alcohol, I can't do that with leather or other materials naman.
