Vista Land to start hotel dev’ts in 2013
Publicly-listed home builder giant Vista Land and Landscapes will start its hotel developments in 2013 as it plans to establish a more active presence in the real estate industry in the country.
Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar Jr., founder of Camella Homes and Vista Land International, said in an interview that they are planning to build hotels by next year and that in few years, they want to be a complete and major real estate developer.
“In few years, we will be a complete developer,” he said.
“We will be building hotels, we will be building condominiums,” Villar added.
The senator also said that Vista Land is upbeat on its outlook on the Philippine property market.
“The growth rate this year and next year are looking better,” he said.
Villar added that they will not say “no” to building casinos and that they might have a casino development in the future.
“In the future, we might also have that [casinos],” he said.
Villar earlier said that Vista Land is taking it one step at a time in transforming itself into a bigger player in the real estate industry.
“We are all set and we are ready to compete with major real estate developers in the country,” he said.
Recently, Vista Land launched its latest development projects under its Brittany brand and is expecting to generate P10 billion from the portfolio.
Vista Land launched ‘The Alpine Village at Crosswinds’ and ‘The Hudson at the Fort’, which also signifies Vista Land’s intention to be a major player in the real estate development. Both developments are located at The Global City in Taguig City.
