Now about the place to stay? beautiful places in the P.I. are endless kahit sa Boracay, Dream on...that's how reality starts.

Mahirap mag-adjust sa simula pero wait until 2-3 years and you will be fine.
Ngayun it takes 2-3 years ata bago mabigyan ng Visa.
Sayang ang panahon, Hope you can make your decision habang bata pa kayo dahil pag nag-kaedad na kayo mas mahirap na umalis dahil marami na kayong tie-ups like business, family, property etc.

first of all, it's hard to get a social security#/driver's license. you go to a DMV office, hahanapan ka ng social security number. in order to get a social sec.#, you have to show proof that you are an immigrant or you have those type of visas that you are permitted to stay and work here legally. employers will require you to have these when you apply for a job.
tapos, hindi lang yun. san ka titira. usually sa relatives, right? now, handa ba silang tumulong sayo. maybe sa una, pero pag tumagal ka sa kanila magsasawa din sayo yun mga yun. di lang yun, dito sa cali kelangan mo ng car. it's hard to find a job without a car. sa new york, pwede kahit wala kang tsikot. ok ang public transportation nila dun. tapos eto yung pinaka mahirap. kung sanay ka sa happenings dyan satin at marami kang barkada, dito patay ka...what i mean is mamamatay ka sa lungkot (look at macky's thread). hehe dami ko na palang nasabi.
well, good luck na lang sa inyo and wish you all the success. if you happen to be in my neighborhood, paramdam na lang kayo dito sa tsikot. sama ko kayo sa lakad ko.
