You made the right choice bro....
They match the cooling capacity (power) of the air-conditioning with the size or more appropriately, volume of the room to make sure that the unit will not be overworked at a certain thermostat setting..
Ideally, they should keep the duty cycle at < 50% so that the compressor is "turned on" only < 50% of the time....





Anyway, I am really interested to find out if there is significant savings so I'm trying to maintain the same routine as much as possible. Will share the results after 6 months or so.
