... instead of accross each other which makes conversations much better since you can see into your partner's eyes. Something I've always pondered about. Am I the only one who find this weird?

To tsikoteers, do you prefer seating across or beside your partner when you go out on dates?

I suppose you meant while having a meal right?

This is just from my experience, there are girls who love to snuggle after eating, hold hands while waiting for the food, easier for them to share some of their food with their partner, want the arms of their partner around them when she's feeling cold, and some other trivial stuffs.

For me, first or second date, across the table. Kung GF ko na siya, I would rather seat beside her. Physical closeness (or even physical contact) is more preferred to eye contact when seated for a meal.

Also girls love to embrace the arm of their BF or show him something on her camera, mobile-phone, etc. or whisper some secrets or spicy tsismis to his ear. Or just hold his hand while waiting for the food to arrive.

    I find it weird too.

I sit across the table all the time. It's also an awkward position to have a conversation while sharing a meal and be sitting next to each other.

I like having my personal space

Why do most Filipino couples I see on dates seat next to each other if they can
