Looks matter. the fact that the beauty and fitness industry is making tons on money even in an economic crisis says it all. we have a whole industry dedicated to skin whitening alone. there are more gyms now than ever before. Vicky Belo and that Calayan guy are household names.

The reality is we are attracted to good looks. no matter how much we verbalize the importance of inner beauty, superficial beauty still matters a lot to us... admit it or not.

Evolutionary biologists explain that we are attracted to beauty coz beauty is a sign of good health. In choosing a mate, our programmed instincts tell us to look for young, healthy mates so our offsprings will be healthy and have more chances of survival.
