Uptown is mostly empty because there aren't much shops open yet. Aside from KFC and McDo in the basement, there aren't any low-end shops there so it's not a mass market mall like Market Market or even Aura.

Pangit is relative. Parking in the area is much cheaper (100-120 for a whole day). There isn't any traffic either, and it's much quicker to get out to C5 or EDSA.

I also jog regularly in the area and no I haven't been mugged yet, not even close.

Nope mas sosyal pa Uptown Mall kaya BHS or Serendra

Saka mahangin dun, magsaling yan Andrew Tan mag-produce ng hangin sa design ng bldg, di tulad sa BHS wala ka-hangin hangin

And the bldgs of Uptown Mall has the same trademark, nagpapalit-palit kulay sa gabi parang sa Japan

Pag napunta ka dun shadow baka bumili ka ng condo, ang ganda ng veranda view ng Uptown Mall

Btw, I used to hang-out sa mga coffee shops sa Two E-Com Prism Plaza sa MoA, it has great view of Manila bay. Same design as the Uptown Mall Skygarden

I strongly disagree re uptown being better than BHS or Serendra. Bagong bago tumutulo mall pag umuulan. May call center din ata sa building nila kaya yung drop off area dami nagsisigarilyo minsan. I like central square the most.

I kinds like it there, maybe I'll get a place nearby there in the future.

I also like the Sky Garden Layout and newly-opened food court.

One reason Im thinking of getting a place there is because of the Ortigas Fort bridge. Bigla taas siguro investment ko in like 2-3 years, though dapat dun ka sa foot ng bridge lol

I agree, pretty disappointing for a new mall to have a leaky roof. Di pa bukas lahat ng store, sira na.

Just study the layout of the mall, it will be the top mall in BGC , That's how great andrew Tan is, he creates communities di lang malls, like Eastwood, mckinley, Forbes Towncenter, and Two-Ecom Plaza

In general Megaworld has nice architectural designs. Just look at the burgos circle area, mckinley hills and the venice plaza.
Quality though is another story as I have friends who have investments at Belagio 1, 2 and 3. Remember the collapsed roof? So sorry OB, Andrew Tan is just sucking the investors dry.

Swerte yung naginvest dun sa Avida near Uptown. Cheaper compared to the Megaworld condos but they still enjoy the mall.

What I like most about Uptown is the fountain lights show with fire effects pa. 😁

Wrong again. There is the One Uptown residences built by MW that has an underpass to the mall. I was almost tempted to invest when I remembered the Bellagio and Tuscany issues.

That's one hair raising place, especially at dusk. Awash with the restless souls of the Vietnam War, I could imagine.

Similar vibe to Dominican Hill years ago.

Never been one to believe in haunted places. As Tugade would say, it's a state of mind. The place would be creepy if you expect it to be creepy. My brother enjoyed spooking himself, I just enjoyed taking photos in pitch black darkness. Didn't feel any weird vibe, maybe I'm just not wired that way. 😵

Dalawa lang kami ng kapatid ko bro. Nothing felt unusual for me. The whole building echoed the croaking of frogs, and the dripping of water from the roof served as our background music.

Binalikan ko the next day at noontime, it looked exactly like any other rundown building. Which makes me wonder, why do ghosts only come out at night?
