That’s in Taipei, at their international airport. EVA Air uses that gate.

If Cathy is in IL, she can use her RP license for an extended period until she decides to stay for a year or longer. This is advised for foreigners who will be working or studying. It is easier to get a DMV license if you have a SSN and a valid address (mailer required).

Yup. Still, I wish we were more like Japan where student drivers have temporary labels on the car stating it's a student driver behind the wheel. I think Japan has laws that protect student drivers. That makes other drivers more wary or careful. It's understood the student driver may screw up. So, they give the newbie a lot of room.
Here in the US, there is no real way of knowing who is behind the wheel. So, if a student driver messes up, there is usually a few pissed off drivers who might escalate things.
Not right now, but we just went to Seafood city North Hills, then dinner at Prem's Thai Kitchen with my family.
I'm surprised at how much my Uncle and Aunt trust in me. On my first day we went to the mall and my Uncle asked if I wanted to drive back. Honestly, when I'm abroad sakay lang ako ng sakay, but now I am conscious. Napansin ko pag turning left pwede na sila umumang sa daan (cross half way) pag green yung kabila. Sa BGC tinanggal yan turn left anytime on green (yung kabila), di umubra sa Pilipinas hahaha.
