    St Luke's BGC. I can hear my Mom's doctor lecturing a patient kasi ayaw mag metformin. Looks like na diagnose as diabetic pero ayaw mag meds. Tanong pa kung pwede mag juice at gatorade. Doctor said how many fruits were squeezed for one juice. This is the first time I heard Dr get irritated. LOL. Sabi Dr manage the sugar first before thinking of sweet foods.

    Mom and I looking at each other, nagpipigil ng tawa. Omg.

    sige pagpatuloy niya ung sugar intake niya later on baka kailanganin niya mag inject ng insulin mas mahirap pa yan kesa uminom ng metformin

    May mga tao talaga in denial na need ng mag maintenance. Yung close friend ko nga na diagnosa na hypertensive pero ilang months lang tinigil na maintenance

    Ilang years na namin siya Dr but first time I heard him get pissed at a patient, kulit talaga e LOL. Marunong pa sa doctor. I think sabi ng patien hindi daw safe metformin, nakakasira ng kidney. Of course the doctor will weigh everything.

    Metformin isn't an easy drug to take. My 1st time dyan eh sinusuka ko sya. Then pag nasanay na tyan mo sa ibaba naman, diarhea, diarhea na kahit wala na laman tyan mo umiiri pa rin pwet mo. The only that really helped me is go for Metformin drugs that has extended release (XR). Pero price ng mga yun eh x10 ng generic Metformin.

    Hay nako. Pet peeve naming ma doktor talaga ang uncompliant patient. Magpapaconsult sayo, reresetahan mo along with advice, tapos di iinumin. Tapos babalik sayo dahil may iba nang nararamdaman only to find out di niya ininom/nag stop inumin ang gamot. Tapos pag tinanong mo bakit, sabihin sayo "eh sabi ni kapitbahay/kumare/pinsan/google masama daw inumin".

    Natawa talaga ko kasi halatang irritated na yung doctor kasi qinu question lahat. Sabi ni Doc kahit sa America or Europe pa siya pumunta, metformin bibigay sa kanya. Lol. Omg.

    I will never get those people who stop their medications. Ako naman nanghihingi pero no need naman daw haha
