Maybe the tranny up shifted at ~2700 rpm that's why the output jumped up at around that point.

But yeah, butt dyno is still the best hehe.

Doing some travelling now and I had somewhat similar thoughts yesterday.

Took my younger daughter to a nearby public park and was just wishing we could have such public space that are clean, safe, well planted with grass and plants, and with all facilities in order with no crowd ( and that was on a Saturday evening). Families were having picnics, kids were playing at the playground - all was orderly. If that was here it'd be run down to the ground with all the Barangay tambays. Even the park at the Fort before was not spared from such an ordeal.

Teacher's Village. The street names are amusing (Filipino Adjectives) I can't believe I drove this far. I passed the famous Kamias street.

40 km only on EDSA. I wonder how bad on weekdays. Bad trip lang sumayad car ko, parking is too matarik.

Is that on the GS bro? Ours had 4 oblong tires. Had it aligned regularly but turned out the shop missed the control arm bushing being worn already at 6x,xxx km. Had the Nexens replaced with Hankooks and what a difference! Braking is now 20-30% better.

At home. We were supposed to start our road trip at 5 am. I'm ready. The kids and and the wife are just getting up. But, no biggy. Our first set of hotel/motel reservations don't take effect until this afternoon, anyway.

We're stopping by for a few days each with relatives at Reno and Fallon, and friends in Las Vegas, all in Nevada.

We made a change. We'll hit the beaches at SoCal instead of the Central Coast.

If I had your Mini and driving alone, sure.

I got a CUV with family. Nothing but tantrums and girly stuff throughout the drive.

I just realized it's only 3:57 am right now. Damn watch with 6 time zones. The watch must have switched to a time zone farther east.

That road holds many great memories for me. Julia Phifer (sp) beach! Monterey and Carmel by the Sea. Pebble beach. Redwoods galore. Post Ranch Inn (google it). Gotta go back......

    You're taking SR1? Wow!

    "Ventura highway

    Sunshine...."

    Favorite spot is Monterey/Pebble Beach...

Visited our relatives there last May.. Almost 6 hour drive from Glendale via i5, Lost Hill and i101 but worth it.

    Safe driving!

Fortunately, the GS tyres are holding bro. The fog lamps went skinny dipping last week when I drove it through knee deep flood water.

This was on our Honda car. The most seldom used. Tyre went oblong during our two week vacation while it sat idle in the garage.

Maybe the tire was oblong already before you stored it bro. I don't think 2 weeks of sitting in the garage could've caused it. Unless it had really low air pressure.

Tomorrow am taking the GS to get new shocks all around. The ride is bumpy already. The price for using it a lot on C6 and South road.

I use it at most once a week, bro. At 100KPH, the steering wheel jarred and so I had it checked. I do not remember this when I used it before the 2-week storage at the right tyre pressure.

Anyway,- ginamit ko na rin [at last] ang spare tyre.....

So, how's your GS now, bro?
