Duty free. The prices here are highway robbery. We only go here for water and palm corned beef.

Marami pa ba pumupunta ng duty free? My family has stopped going there for more than 15yrs na siguro. Available na rin naman items sa malls and groceries kasi

Not much anymore. Duty Free has been horrible since they moved from the old location (which I think is a casino now?) I looked forward to going to duty free in the 80s and they really had US goods at low prices. Now it's just highway robbery and majority of the goods aren't even imported anymore.

We just go there to buy Evian and Palm corned beef which is cheaper by P20 each It's 10 for USD35 while in Cash and Carry it's P199 ata. My Auntie got me some chocolates that she wasn't able to get my in the US. They sell Symphony for about USD6 e sa US it's only USD2.50. Parang sobra naman ang patong nila I felt guilty to have my Auntie buy me any more chocolates there. I thought it should be at least close to prices abroad. It's cheaper to buy at S&R so I told my Auntie we should just go to S&R. There are chocolates there that cost $3 which they are selling for S16. Unbelievable! It does make me wonder why people are still buying chocolates there in bulk.

This time, it was another pleasure to meet up with you... Talagang dumayo ka pa sa AC shop ni CeeJay's ha?

It was good that our drive to the north today did not push through...

It's a small old commercial building that is long due for demolition. I thought we stripped it of everything of value. Apparently steel has become really expensive nowadays. Guys broke in from the front and tore off pieces of trusses and other steel supports.

What is annoying is I think my neighbor did it. This is not the first time it happened.

Bro, even steel plates being used to cover diggings on the road are stolen. One solution is to station a security guard if there is a sizable quantity of metal left in the building

Not worth the value of the steel left inside bro. Most are rusted through already. My dad even joked I might even save on demolition labor by letting the thieves in. But still, the theft in priciple makes my blood boil.

Ang nakakainis alam ng owner na alam ko na mga bata nya rin ang gumawa. Bringing a couple of cops to visit tom. Just to see if they get fidgety when questioned. With all the news we get nowadays they should be extra scared.
