Costa Pacifica in Baler. Decent resort but overpriced and overrated.



The way it was portrayed in Kris TV you'd think it's a 5-star resort but it's just so-so. It's the best resort in Baler, but that's because it's a sleepy old town with simple resorts. Not worth the price.

As for the surfing experience, it was great, but it takes 6 hours to get here (with my pace already) thanks to the closed bridge in La Paz (had to go around Guimba). I think La Union is a better option for a quick surfing getaway, since you can get there in 4 hours thanks to TPLEX.

The government should really prioritize more infrastructure projects for northwest Luzon. All our expressways have made going to region 1 much easier, but both the western part of region 3 and the entire region 2 still rely on AH26, which has now been infested by tricycles.
