He he he... Nice bro....That's Liberty Island.

The first time i met that lady, it was a total surprise to me that she was green....

I needed to dig deeper into chemistry...

Again, the best time to be in that area is during Fall....

True. I don't think I'll come back during summer. West coast weather is bearable. But east coast. Parang Manila, humid and sticky.

    BTT:

No need. The lady is made of copper and copper rust is green.

We were there this same time last year. The tactic for NYC is similar for Manila: You look around outdoors. Then you scoot inside a store to cool off. Then you go out again.

Ellis Island wasn't too bad. It was breezy and didn't feel muggy although some shade is good too:

I look carefully sa mga prices before I buy. Especially sa streets.

Exactly. Traffic is tolerable, restaurants are half full.

The lunch time food trailers are awesome. The kids stuck to hot dogs. But, the wife and I preferred the ethnic foods. They're also relatively cheap, around $5-$10 per order.

We were frequent visitors to the Philippine Consulate in NYC while we lived in the state....about a six-hour drive from home.

Went inside the PH consulate and took some photos. Guess it's the only consulate that would allow me to do such thing. [emoji16]

Did they finally start putting chairs out for visitors or do you still have to sit on the floor? That's my biggest gripe with them. Too cheap to put out chairs.

That's good. Exactly this same time last year, it was like this. I felt they could do better especially since they represent the country abroad.

Compare that to the PH Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. When we arrived, the PH Embassy was still closed. Yet, they opened their doors to us and brought us to their kitchen where they prepared breakfast for us. Got a good dose of PH hospitality.

Have not checked out any Philippines Embassy or Consulate abroad.... But IMO, that is pathetic....

    Food truck or trailers,- FTW!

Never failed to visit this cathedral everytime we are in the area.

In between,- may tsikot....

And the weather should be good. Mix of sun and rain showers perhaps? I used to take a few days off from work (and the kids from school) to enjoy Baguio in the off season. Buhay tulog-kain for a couple of days or so.
