then it would be a matter of luck na lang siguro para makakuha ka ng OEM * 2nd hand.
is it 2 DIN? i'm not that familiar with the current HU costings with such features, how much it would cost you for the b'new?

Oonga eh. Going to need to look for places where other guys dump their OEM HUs.

I was quoted 28-30K for a good head unit with mirroring features, plus 3k for the dashboard panel. Wiring harness for no splicing should cost a little under 1k.

I'm looking at a 35K upgrade on a bnew car that has perfectly decent audio for someone who's not an audio nut. Not really something I'd like to do at this point hehe.

Reason for this is simple - nakakainis madumihan, magasgas o masaksakan ng ballpen or other sharp object yung leather seats tapos nasisira. (Yes, it has happened more than once and hindi ako yung gumawa.)

Will drive me nuts if that happens. Besides, one of the big benefits of having leather seats is the seat comfort, and kahit may cloth covers, comfortable pa rin naman yung seats. =)

Even if you cover leather seats with seat covers, a sharp object will still pierce through the seat cover and damage the leather seats. Reason for the seat comfort of a leather seat is because of the material. So covering it negates the purpose of the leather seats.

Anyone can suggest a good aluminum window supplier/installer (whether local or imported)? This will be used to double a couple of windows exposed to the street side (to reduce noise and dust intrusion).

I still have to check out the Home Depots this coming weekend but a lead would be good so we don't waste time.

Was thinking of PVC windows too (they seem to seal better) but the assemblies are thicker and require more ledge space.

We used K&M in our Tagaytay family home (primarily to protect against the weather and strong rains from seeping in during typhoons). Worth the price given the typhoons and humidity before really caused a lot of water damage; It's beyond the budget i'm setting for this current project though.

LOL. Medyo may kamahalan nga (umabot ng 7 figures) since the house has a lot of sliding doors (alangan naman gumawa ng bahay sa Tagaytay na maliit bintana It was installed around 6-7 years ago and it has paid off in terms of insulation and protection during bad weather. The house has not needed any renovation since then in fact (mga minor work lang here and there).

Si Boybi, malamang yung bahay ng doggie niya naka K&M pa. :D

BTT: Found an aluminum window supplier already; coursed it through one of the business units of my workplace that is into real estate. Will get a couple of anodized white sets for the condo double window. Also saw some Hafele window seals which i can use on the outer steel window to further minimize noise and dust intrusion.

does anybody know where i can buy something like this?

gagawa kasi ako ng playpen/fence for my dogs and iniisip ko kung mas ok gumamit ng ganito kesa bumili ng gawa na, medyo mahal din kasi.

although i haven't tried looking at hardware stores like ace, puro luma na yung posts regarding this product and madami nag mention na hindi na nagstock ace hardware ng ganito.
