meron online IQ test that i tried last year, karamihan math and abstract reasoning.........i got 142.. ..................146 yata......i guess 64........no wait, it's 42......can't recall......basta meron 1, 2, 4, and 6.........but i'm pretty sure it's not 14 :bwahaha:

ang alam ko lang is above average lang ako.. pero that was way back in high school. ang sabi ng sis ko pag sobrang tagal na mag retest na kasi may times daw na tumataas bumababa.. true?

The test in the internet is a come-on.... Everyone's a genius there and they offer some stuffs for you since you're deemed a genius....

I remember taking the institutional test in HS, and got a score of 138. After that, I got the attention of our Guidance Counselor, as I was a new student.

Later on, in college, I took another IQ test sponsored by the university and got 144.

Never took another 'similar exam' until now....

Possible na bumaba. The Q in IQ stands for Quotient, and it assumes you get smarter as you age. If you got say 80/100 questions back in HS and it gave you a mark of "superior", the same 80/100 correct answers scored by a 40 year old will probably only be good for "above average".

145 ako nung panahon ng college entrance exams (UP batch '96). I don't feel any smarter, so siguro mga 120+ na lang ako ngayon.

Online IQ Tests are notoriously inaccurate because they're so short.

I just took one after seeing this thread dug up. I got only 135 because I missed two questions. What? Does that mean if I got one of those right, it would be 170? Then if I got both questions I missed right, I'd be 200+? Wow! I'm two questions from being a super-genius.

Online, I score between 135-145.

Offline, I've been tested at about 140+.

I'm pretty sure my scores are going down as I get older, because I've gotten lazy at math (yes, world, you can practice for IQ tests... play brain-teasers and do lots of math work).

Another big problem is that IQ tests are culture-sensitive (even abstract reasoning must be learned in some way or explained to those not familiar with IQ tests) and an IQ test can only be as good as the people who make it. I remember the DECS' pathetic NCEE. I scored something like a 99++ on that exam... and it was one of the few exams where I scored less than perfect on abstract reasoning, because their abstract figures were obviously drawn with a ruler and a ballpen by a non-draftsperson... :lol: (one of the people who made the exam was my coworker after I graduated... ang sabi niya, they just hijacked them, locked them in one place for a week or two, and told them to make the exam on the spot.)
