I agree na mas maganda pag may kusa, meaning "automatic". IMHO, you should tell her this staright to her face,"Diba ok kse sabay tayo nakaka-uwe especially kapag alanganing oras and on top of that mas tipid. Tell you what, let's chip for gas para masaya. At least, you need not wait for a cab, with the same price plus, malinis and safe ka with me." Pag tahimik ka means that it's ok. Let her know that it's NOT ok especially with the price of gas today.

Watcha think? Pero if I was in your shoes, I won't even sugar-coat it. I'd tell her straight to her face and avoid beating around the bush. Sayang time ko.
