Western Union will cost about $21 to send $200.
Is there a cheaper way?
how much is a bank to bank transfer?
you can also try contacting johnny air cargo for the rates.
just place the cash inside a t-shirt and send the package thru regular airmail.![]()
can this really work? wala ba scanner or something to detect the money?Originally Posted by ghosthunter
nope... works best if you can insert the rolled-up cash into one of the stitched seams of the shirt or blouse. Of course, you have to let the receiving person know that you have inserted the cash somewhere in the shirt/blouse through a separate letter, sms, etc (never in the same package).Originally Posted by oldblue
wester union or wire through bank i think banco de oro offers this, bank to bank willo definetly be cheaper, deposit on an international bank account the person abroad could withdraw the cash
I pay for some purchases in eBay via Western Union cash pickup sa States. Its the fastest and more secure way to send money. Mas okey yan than the old padala system.
Agree with FrankDrebin. We, Filipinos, are extremely good in doing this!
Do they have money order or cashier's checks over there? Probably the cheapest but also the loooongest wait.
If you're going to be regularly sending money to the US to the same person: Ask your friend to open a Citibank account. Once you have the account number, you can deposit the funds here in Manila at a Citibank branch. I believe the account will be instantly credited, wala pang fee, as long as your friend can maintain the minimum account balance.
