Is your girlfriend the type who'd like to primp and brush a dog daily? Because if the answer is no then a shihtzu is not the breed for her. Yes they're so cute but the upkeep of keeping them clean is so toxic!!!!

Since she has a large dog (a Belgian Malamute you said?) then I suggest a Beagle or a Basset Hound... A Beagle is about 13-15" high, very energetic and to top it all, they're short haired so maintenance is at a minimum. A Basset Hound is the classic Hush Puppies dog... They're more laid back than Beagles...

labrador retriever. extremely loyal, very intelligent, no problem w/ kids. masarap pa kasama sa jogging/walking.:fetch1: pooch ko black lab pero mas ok kung chocolate lab kasi napakaganda ng coat :cool01:

kung small dogs naman i'd go for a mini dachshund. malambing, mabait, ma-utak at pwedeng pwedeng guard dog kasi matapang :foshizzle:

my dream dog would be a cane corso. a "larger" version of the pitbull. bakulaw sa laki! plus its naturally protective of children and easily trained. generally,it does not pose threat to strangers. once pa lang ako nakakita nito sa antipolo way back in 2001. asking price daw is 130,000. rare breed....
