Seriously, maganda yung capiz windows. You should salvage that. My mom's friend went up north pa just to look for those windows. He had it made into dividers, ganda lumabas.
Do you plan to restore the cars?

Baguio for us this weekend. First time for my kid. First time for me to drive going there. With our usual companion- my mother and mother in law.

Euro plate nalang ang kulang.
We actually went to document the place, check out the floor tiles and some of the old furniture as my tita will help her cousin restore some of the stuff. I'm sure my tita will also bargain for some house panels when they take the old house apart (foundation is iffy already and it's uninhabited since our grand-tita who lived there passed away too). The capiz windows are so smooth when you move them... good fit indeed.
The cars are no-touch as it doesn't belong to my branch of the family, nor do I have the resources to restore them... but dang it really made my heart skip a beat to see those.
Nice combo ah... mother and mother-in-law... hehe. :D

4th anniversary with my gf. We'll go to Binondo to shoot and meet up with team mates. Long day ito para sa aming dalawa
^^
Napamura ako dun ah! That Speedster looks promising, as it shares a lot of identical spareparts with classic Beetles. The Lotus needs tons of cash. Whats the yellow car? A Cortina?
Nag palpitate ako when i saw those!
The Speedster can be restored indeed... huwag lang gamitan ng parts na galing kay Little Bastard(same model right?).... EDIT: it's a diff model pala. I'm scared of seeing what lies beneath the Lotus Elan as it's up to the floorboard in soil. The lights and exterior knick-knacks are still there though based on what i saw. The yellow car is a Cortina.
I can't figure out why they were left just like that at the back (at least nagarahe yung Speedster). My tita and uncle who owned those were abroad when we went so i could not interrogate them.

British cars of that era tend to "rust" more ....
The Speedster is missing a few trims, pero it can be easily sourced from outside. Kahit ganyan ang itsura ng Lotus, I'm pretty sure may bibili nyan if your family decides to sell it.
I suggest you put your foot down and get first dibs on that Speedster! Kahit tulungan pa kita umayos nyan! :D
I was about to ask kung financially ba. Haha.

Typical German cars during those days were built pretty well, almost anything and everything are mechanical and can be refurbished given the correct know how and tools. And if there's need for parts, pwede naman hanapan ng alternative na kasukat. Like I said, the Speedster shares some common parts with the Beetle, so chances of Vinj restoring it to mechanical soundness is pretty high.
Wow on the Lotus! Even now it's a rare sight on PH roads. If there ever is one?

A guy (whom I will not name) from the Manila Sports Car club has one in perfect condition. At least I know there's one in existence here locally.
AFAIK, meron Lotus club dito. But I think its still affiliated with MSCC.
Tahimik si primo. He's weighing the pro's and con's.
Porsche Speedster yan .... that's the real mcoy!
