Almost everything that we did today are not planned......
Leaving for Baguio in an hour....... I didn't realize long weekend pala....... Hope the traffic won't be too bad....
Going to sampaloc tanay again, practice si kumander ng gear shifting.. speed control and sterng,,
office ako today...:cry2:
tomorrow, if plans will not push through (out of town), either bahay lang or nood ng sine sa mall.
Hirap gumising kasi ng maaga. Not only me but my kids as well. So, we left home 11am. Traffic actually sa Manila lang. Once nasa NLEX na, diretso na towards Baler. Arrived after 7 hours. No traffic encountered. Coming back is actually better. Did it in 6 hours with just one stop only. Left Baler 10am, nandito na sa Manila 4pm. There is a portion in Nueva Ecija where you traverse winding roads for about 2 hours. It was a challenging part of the trip. Some parts are under construction (probably around 10 areas) but generally the trip was very smooth, albeit very tiring.
Funny thing though, while at NLEX driving around 90/95 kph, a pigeon was flying in front of my car around windshield level. He moved to the inner lane and I was able to overtake it. Seeing it flying beside me was surreal.
I'm leave for a week. I just want to spend it alone at home while the wife's at work and kids are in school.
Looking forward to this long weekend with the family somewhere in our southern islands....
Could have been somewhere farther,- but our eldest kid has a very limited vacation from school....
Oh well,- there's next year...

Sometimes you just have to draw the line, lay down the plan and do it. At that stage, your kid's schedules will just become more and more demanding (Trisem?) so you really have to set the plans for the long vacation with the family. I remember my grandfather laying down the law, paying for everything and asking us one by one one, for our entire family to go to Davao for a weekend to visit old family friends and take in some beach and mountain time... it was well worth it as it also turned out to be our last complete family trip.
Bro.,- he's out tomorrow,- so next time bro....
Sayang nga e.... We are swimming to the next island the following day na....
Agree with you bro.
Our aunts and uncles are not getting any younger, (and so, more difficult for them to visit the Philippines) - and so, we should fly out to be and enjoy time with them... And yes,- good bonding time with the family!

This is the reason for my depression for the past few months. I'm seeing my loved ones getting olderI'm lucky enough to have Aunties that never say no to me and the thought of losing just one of them upsets me so much I feel nauseous
My Mom's sisters treat me like their daughter din.

Plant mango trees in Batangas, and maybe buy a bahay kubo.
Another long weekend with the family somewhere in southern Philippines, but this time with the in laws....
