Yes Camelot did have a 3hr rate. But that was like a decade ago. Not sure now.

For here? Holiday Inn Express Suites. We always take a suite because.....

1. The wife likes to keep the family together. She doesn't like my solution of me and her in one room while the kids stay in another room.

2. The eldest kid and the youngest kid cannot be in the same bed. We need at least 3 beds.

Motorists' hotels in the US are very different from the motels we have here in PI.

I know what their uses are. *cough* me n the wife *cough* went to one *cough* a long time ago. ;)

It's like the love motels in Japan. I've seen those too. Not the love hotels, but love motels where cheating spouses can do their thing without repercussions. .....anything to get the birth rate up.

I came across one while backpacking my way south to Tokyo.

Nah. The Japanese countryside is quite clean and refreshing. Just don't go in early spring because of the freshly applied (natural) fertilizer stench.
