+100. yung iba kasi para maging in lang (SC mode), bibili ng dslr tapos pag ginamit, parang point and shoot lang

marami ako ka batch, nag crossover sila from being enthusiasts to pro, and they are doing pretty good sa business nila

At yan tuloy nagiging mindset ng madaming tao. Basta may DSLR ka, magaling ka. Pwe!

Its true some build up their name, but ilang percentge lang yan , lucky you pag ung isang kuha mo nagustuhan ng isang bigating tao or big company this will put you up in different level and change your destiny

Sony NEX is one of the best out there IMO. They have matured and have nice features not found in other mirrorless.
I used to have one but I sold it as I didn't want to keep to systems (Canon and Sony lenses). So I bought a EOS M.

If you like to adjust your camera settings, buy a better lens (i.e. prime lenses) and change lenses, then go with micro four thirds (Panasonic or Olympus).

If you like to point and shoot and use only the kit lens, then get a Sony NEX.

i used to be the all-manual fanatic. had the metal dinosaur nikon F2AS, with heavy 50mm 1.4 lens and bazooka 80-200 zoom, and the huge 285 flash. very heavy. very professional. and when the shooting starts, i could hide behind them.
then i graduated to the F3HP. still big, but AE already.
then the AFs: 301, 801, 2000, with matching AF zooms. good for slower reflexes.
now, with failing eyesight, slower reflexes and bad back, i just put the paperclip box-sized lumix zoom point n shoot in my pocket... if i'm not going to enlarge the pictures to life-size, it won't matter.

Lumix zs7. I like: the gps kahit slow at minsan inaccurate location, custom settings, compact, lightweight, cheap? around 13k iirc in 2010, and 12x zoom for the paparazzi shots. Cons are: weak flash and not so intelligent auto mode.
