Brady, on the other hand, had none of those & made do with no big name guys.

Brady had a good number of receivers while he was in New England. They may not be comparable to the great Jerry Rice but four of these names are sure entries to the Hall of Fame. There’s Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, and Rob Gronkowski. Gronk is a freak of nature and one of the best tight ends ever to play the game. Gronk came out of retirement to play with Brady for Tampa. Another talented receiver to join Brady at Tampa is Antonio Brown who distinguished himself playing for the Steelers before.

If you follow closely the New England teams for the last 20 years, Bellicheck surrounded Brady with capable runners and blockers to keep him safe in the pocket giving him time to choose his targets. Also, Bellicheck had those crazy defensive schemes that kind of hold off other teams enough to win them games.

There are a lot of great quarterbacks to play the game within the last 20 years. Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Patrick Mahomes. All of them won a Super Bowl. However, Brady established himself above them. Only Peyton Manning was able to win Super Bowls with two teams (Indiana and Denver) while Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger had 2 rings each.

Montana suffered from concussions, broken bones, knee injuries...... all that shortened his career. Its a good thing Brady doesn’t have to go through all that. We are lucky we get to watch a hall of famer. I would have loved to witness Montana’s greatness before. At least now, we get to see another in the making.

I was a Montana fan as well, but after won his 6th championship there is no denying any more about his GOAT status among QB's. This is just icing on the cake though his coaches did a hell of a job as well.

Planning is one thing, execution is another.

Bradshaw (Steelers) was the name before Montana took over. They had 4 wins each. Trok Aikman had 3 with the Cowboys who played with the great Emmith Smith (RB). John Elway won 2 with Denver.

Dan Marino (Dolphins) was a great quarterback but he never won a Super Bowl.

I think it was the Cowboys-Bills in 1993 the first time I watched on TV a Super Bowl. The Cowboys won again the next year. It was Aikman and Smith leading the show for the Cowboys. On a sad note, the Bills went 4 straight times to the Super Bowl in those years but they never won.

I followed Brett Favre and the Packers. Elway was already in his twilight years when he won back to back for Denver.

It was the defensive teams of Baltimore and Tampa that I love watching the most. The 2002 Tampa Bay Bucs defense outscored the Oakland Raiders in Super Bowl 37.

I love the Chicago Bears as they have always been a defensive team. My heart broke in 2010 when the Packers beat them for the NFC Championship. Rodgers brought a SB win for the Packers that year. Sad thought is that it was Chicago’s fault that let the Packers get into the playoffs.

Can any of you share the truth behind Brady’s leaving New England? I heard it was something about him & Bellichek disagreeing on something. I also heard Bellichek wanting to prove that New England is not about Brady. What is the real score?
