El Nido Resorts (Ayala Group) are highly recommended! Miniloc, Lagen, and Pangulasian are all beautiful in its own. Nakaka miss nga eh.

It amazes me how schools of those big, quick and powerful fish manage to avoid people during feeding time.

Protected area bro. Bawal manghuli ng kahit ano. That's why the fish get so big and behave differently. In that place, fish don't see people as predators. They go right up next to you when you swim. Pretty amazing.

Uy, drinks! Sama ako dyan! Hehehehe

A few weeks ago, while I had our ASX serviced, the shop owner offered me lapu-lapu at 250 per kg. He told me his dealer brought him 5 packs of 2kg each but he only ordered 4 packs. I got the other pack. Good deal for 500. We had it steamed that evening.

    are you familiar with maliputo?

taste better than the talakitok. some says they are just the same... it’s just that when you caught it in salt water (e.g. Balayan bay) it is called talakitok, but when you caught it in fresh water it is maliputo. This maliputo kasi transfers from Balayan bay going to Taal lake, passing thru Pansipit river, to lay eggs.
