Just think how lucky you are compared to the vast majority of people in the world, some of whom worry about where their next meal will come from, who live just day to day & whose earnings go to daily necessities while we have bank savings, a nice home.....

Well said... problem nowadays is we have become so self centered. That's why everybody is so into developing their own profiles in social media, vlogging/blogging, etc. Most People nowadays want to be heard and followed to soothe their souls.

In the process, we tend to amplify our small successes/achievements and sadly, also our own problems/irritations/rants.

Once we look past ourselves, we will see that there are other people out there who are going thru even worse situations.

All about our attitude and gratefulness.

Dahil sa extradition bill, there's now a full realization that HK people are now within reach of the long arm of Beijing

Di lang daw extradition yan

Pati assets pwede mafreeze or maconfiscate

Kaya madami rich HK people nag transfer ng pera abroad

Nag spike daw ang inquiries for Canada / UK property

HKs were so much in their comfort zone, thinking they cannot be touched. Di nila iniisip that China, when pushed, pushes back harder. They have no defenses, no military. China will kill all of them if they need to. Sana tumahimik na lang sila sa extradition bill, after all, they are a region of China.

Not really self centered. You probably are not human if you didn’t feel depressed. I myself have problems that keeps me awake at night but, I try not to look at the big picture & just focus on the little ones.

At least meron sila fighting spirit.

Alam nila importante pinaglalaban nila.

Hanga nga ako sa ginagawa nila ngayon eh.

2 months na sila nagproprotest, pero di napapagod.

E sa Pinas yan, 1 araw lang uwian na, puro kasi hakot squatter.

Mga binayaran.

No pay, no rally.

No convictions at all.

Mga middle class and upper class dito puro "busy", hanggang internet lang ang "rants".

In a way I feel sorry for the HongKongers.

They are fighting a losing fight.

China is merciless sa mga ganyang protest protest.

Pero kung walang maninindigan dictators will have a field day.

We don't need more authoritarian regimes to prosper.
