ganyan din si erpats bro. kaya pag nasa bahay sya either english or bisaya lang. ang siste kasi yun mga yaya and help galing iba't ibang islands. so ang gulo namin mag bisaya, so english nalang pwede rin manahimik nalang hehehe

Nope. It's especially more expensive for those who are from out of state, often 3x the cost of those who are residents of the state the university is at. Since my daughter doesn't pay for room and board, she gets by.

If I was still young and going to college for the first time, I'd probably pick a trade school instead of a university.

Yung ayaw ko lang minsan sa mga balikbayan galing states. Sobrang taas ng tingin sa sarili porket nakapunta na dun eh. Like my matapobre relative. trabaho lang bartender saka taga deliver ng food sa hospital. Pag uwi sa pinas super hangin, sila the daw the best sa bartending blah blah...

When I visited there a few years ago, I wore a plain t-shirt, shorts, ankle socks, worn out sneakers, cheap watch, and my total luggage was one backpack. I looked like a penniless hippie.

Walking outside for half a mile within the suburbs? Bad idea. You don't know what kind of freaks or misfits are out there. Do you see others strolling outside? Maybe if you live within a subdivided community or a residential complex.

It's better that you drive to a nearby park and take your walking there. At least, there are other people around.

Really? Yes, within the suburbs. Our house is half a mile from Target etc. Sanay kasi ako maglakad sa Manila even late at night.
